Would you attend games if the club had to move away from the Ricoh?

I'd go. Prefer Sixfields to Burton though.

Incidentally I remember when the previous move to Northampton came around there was some talk about playing in Hinckley, as their ground was ok by non league standards. I know nothing about the ground, or whether it still exists as I think the club itself went bust but that would fall into an acceptable distance for me, even if it does fall in Leicestershire.

Location will decide if I have a season ticket or go to the occasional game. Will definitely be attending in some form though.

I didn’t step foot near Sixfields before.

If we ground share with Birmingham City, the next closest professional football club to my house, I will attend the majority of games.

i asked around at work was surprised actually how many st holders worked there a few took their kids too, none will renew, scarey really. I think attendances at a shared ground will be a lot lower than anticipated on here.

No wont bother on principal logistics and dont want to.
I will get a ST for Cov Rugger the only Cov team playing in my home town.

I know the atmosphere is not the same but if sixfields is anything to go by I wont be missing.much.

As there is some discussion on this and views seem polarised let’s see what people think this time.

For me it’s different as the club is being forced to move and cannot influence the outcome
Good poll

So roughly based on 10000 home fans that would mean

2000 season tickets
And about 4000 attending some games.

3000 seems a sensible guess then

My brother in law and some friends are supporters and it’s close I suppose. I wanted to ask him genuinely what he wanted to do if we ceased to exist or moved a long way away

Most of my family on my mum's side are West Brom fans, my cousin and uncle are both season ticket holders, they have suggested I go and watch Albion if the unthinkable happens.

Principle is nothing to do with it. The option I wanted wasn't there though.
It's no because it would prologue the move. In my opinion SISU's plan is to distress Wasps. It is the same plan they had with ACL when we went to Northampton. I think they were caught out by the low attendances there and that significantly contributed along with other factors to our return. I respect the decision of others to attend but in my opinion you are potentially contributing to us staying away. Although in all honesty I think the 2000 or less who go probably won't make much difference. We will end up financially distressed again and it will be a race to the bottom between us and Wasps. SISU seemed to have learnt and some are buying the idea that we are getting chased out of town but a sizeable majority are still seeing through it. No stadium will be built.
Hopefully SISU are prepared to put their hand in their pockets and fund the wages when the attendances drop. A Wilson sale may fund the move away for a few years, let's see. My preference though I would prefer them to drop the legals and negotiate a mutually beneficial deal.

Wherever we end up we cant share with the egg chasing fuck the pitch up mob its not doing our football much good the pitch on Sunday was diabolical ...bobbling all over the place unless we start playing up and under football

I wouldn’t go , I remember attending a match at Northampton and it was just sad , awful atmosphere and a feeling of not belonging .
Will always attend every away matche though

I would attend, unsure to what extent at present, something which would depend on where the Club was groundsharing.

For me it will depend on the logistics. My parents (in their 80s) have bought season tickets this year for the first time ever. They have enjoyed the season and want to go next year too.

The twats at the council et al have no idea how much they are ruining peoples lives for their petty egos.

I would have liked the option of 'No on principal' and 'No on inconvenience'. My personal circumstances have changed lately meaning I have a lot less cash to throw around but mainly if I'm honest, not living in Coventry I like to go and watch the Cov teams play in Cov, so I can keep popping back to the home of my forefathers. A day at Cov City or Cov rugby is a trip down memory lane and a chance to revisit favourite pubs and eating places or maybe just to have a romp around CV1 to pick up a few bits in the shops.
I'm not going to get that in Burton/Birmingham/Northampton.
CCFC will always be my football team so I guess it would be about picking the odd away game but I guess even that would drop off.

Will not go on principal supporter of 60 years plus said before on here will not go even if we moved closer to me.I do just wish Wasps would make an offer make it public and say this is what you can have if you drop the legals.I do think when we leave IF Sisu ever build a stadium it will take 3 years minimum to get built .Our best players and probably our manager will have moved on by then. We will have to start another team build. I will be nearer 80 than 70 so i will live on some great memories i've had in my time. The supporters i feel sorry for are the younger ones(schoolchildren) who we need to keep the club going but will be lost probably for good.I really do hope even at this late stage a deal can be agreed.

I would likely attend 5 or 6 games, get the ifollow subscription, spend a bit more in the club shop. Then I would also look to go to 5 or 6 Coventry RFC games and spend some money behind the bar there and in their club shop.

I feel this is slightly different to Northampton as we can now see that all sides are a bunch of pathetic cockwombles. Were we to do something (peaceful) to affect all parties then I feel this period away from
Coventry will be shorter compared to when we went to Northampton

So, in council elections, were people to not vote labour, this could really help to send a strong message. Sadly I fear that too many are in love with red rosettes

I will be spending money at Coventry RFC to hopefully get some money in their coffers so they can challenge for promotion and provide some excitement. If we have a winning Cov side, we might be able to pull some supporters paying £40 (those that do actually buy a ticket) away from Wasps, who have had a terrible 2018/19 season, and hit them financially. Unlikely as it is, but we’re there to be 1,000 CCFC fans paying £100 over the season to Cov RFC, that would go a long way!

Sadly my attendances at CCFC will decrease, so an obvious reduction in my money going directly there

Either way it's bad bad news for the future of our club we were just beginning to unite again and build the fan base and momentum. There were green seeds of recovery appearing but this is all being screwed up now the progress we were making is going to be destroyed over a bitter standstill between a group of numptys
