Not sure, its doing the rounds on the notts forum too?
If he goes then surely there has been a falling out between him and robins?

Or he just wants to play football. He's not good enough for league one at this stage of his career unfortunately.

I read that it was Viveash he didn't get on with, rather than Robins.

He doesn't look as if he is going to play much of a part if Westbrooke is in front of him.

If Doyle goes, will Ogogo be back in the frame?

Will Doyle want relegation to non league on his CV?

If he leaves then good on him as it shows his desire to play every Saturday and not quite ready to step into coaching. His time in L1 might be at a close but in L2 he’s a lot to offer weekly.

Cannot fault that, came to do what he was instrumental in achieving.

The suggestion of a falling out dampens his spell here and I’m sure he and MR are on good terms.

I still think he is good enough to get in the side....
Didn't someone say on the radio after the game that we've won more games this season when he has been in the side?

Didn't he suggest that MR has guaranteed him a place on the coaching staff next season/when he hangs them up?
Would be very strange to essentially burn that bridge.

Hopefully he isn't leaving, just posted what I've seen on the Notts forum and the 'reliable' twitter

Without looking that stat up I’m not sure. Could be close. I’ll check it out later.

As for him still being able to do a job at this level I’d say he could it depends on what your asking him to do and with careful selection against certain sides as a possession based side with good movement he will struggle against. Your Blackpool’s and Wimbledon’s yes he can do a job.

It’s very likely a twitter story given the situation they are in and looking at the amount of games he’s not played lately and age he’s at thinking he will want to be playing weekly someone’s suggested his name and it’s gained momentum.

I think that's spot on Nick about Viveash
He has been offered a coaching role but if there is an offer from elsewhere which means he will get game time maybe he will go for it as he's so near the end of his career

If he's going I'd probably like to see him given a run out, if it's imminent I think the community day on Saturday would be ideal. It isn't often these days a player plays 300+ games for a club so we should appreciate his service (and that's me who has never been a huge fan of his)

If he plays on Saturday, then he won't be leaving as the window shuts today

Fekkin hope not! They've wanted him for a while, but Kelly is out for a few weeks and Abs is going out on loan today, so we'll be very short in that area if it happens.

If he goes then he won't be able to play. Agree about some sort of game though.

Is Kelly injured? First I have heard about it.

Or did you miss an 'if' before 'Kelly'?

Notts County have made inquiries about the availability of Sky Blues skipper Michael Doyle.

City are understood to have received a call about the 37-year-old from the club whom Coventry knocked out of the League Two play-off semi-finals last May.

But manager Mark Robins is understood to have told the relegation threatened Magpies that Doyle is going nowhere despite having dropped out of the first team starting line-up over the last two months.

Did he also tell them he's got skyblue blood? :meh:

Groin strain I believe and out for a few weeks. Assume Bayliss also not fit yet, o we are very light in there.
