I'd take Conor Washington if he was available via loan - that said I want us to give Bakayoko more of a chance first.

Clarke was quality. Wilson and Clarke were fantastic together. Clarke as the target man still got loads of goals as well as setting Wilson up for loads too. I fear he's too old now as he's 34 soon and always a bit prone to the odd injury, its not a good mix.

He’s been near ever present in some capacity in the last few seasons and bagged 19 goals in the championship last season.

I’d say he’s got plenty to offer in a league lower especially for a minimum of a loan spell as he is still a month away from turning 34 as pace was never part of his game either.

He’s got a few miles left in him for L1

Why? Certainly one on the best
He said "the best in the last 15 years" - wouldn't put him above King, Wilson or McGoldrick for starters.

I would above King and level with Wilson

It's hard to judge partly because they were different sort of players. Clarke was a good foil for Wilson, he had height and ball skill to complement Wilson's pace and power, but was also very sturdy in his own right and could hold the ball up really well. For me King was the best player I have seen for us, really was the complete package, other than his fitness and disciplinary record which let him down.

Don't scoff but another I'd throw in there would be Juke; for most of the time he was with us, he had very poor service with few effectice creative players to fashion opportunities for him, but he still had a reasonable record in the Championship - Wilson, Clarke and McGoldrick only did it for us in the third tier.

Jukevitch was not in Clarke’s league. To be fair to him he did have that useless prick thorn as manager in his final season but he was still average

If king was the best player you’ve seen im staggered

I liked Jutkiewicz, I thought he did a lot for the team, and stood out in a woeful team. Clarke however was a better finisher.

King is possibly one of the top 5 players in the last 15 years though

Leon would be brilliant for us and tear up this division.

Two things-his injury record is pretty appalling and he ain’t getting any younger.

He is the sort of player that needs a manager to put an arm around his shoulder and encourage him-is Robins honestly this type?

Robins signed him last time out

Not in the Sheffield United match day 18 today and Chris Wilder has reportedly said he’s the subject of interest to a few clubs but wouldn’t be drawn on whether he will leave or not. ‘Got to be right for the player and the club’ he says

Where you seen this figure if you don’t me me asking?

A host of championship clubs are reportedly showing a interest so becomes ever unlikely.
