Random, might have to try that.

So not even going to the CCFC page in that window?

I wonder if it's cache related.

That’s what I was thinking. Not sure what chromes doing in the background but as each tab is a new process surprised it makes any difference.

I did try all of that the other day, tried Chrome / Safari / Firefox in case they were chucking stuff in the local cache so even when I tried a different VPN it remembered :(

Clever bastards!

It goes to the ccfc/ifollow page.

This is how it is:
1. Turn on vpn, bring up chrome, normal window, navigate to ifollow, do the deal, get black screen. Close window
2. Open up an incognitio window, navigate to ifollow, get 'not allowed to view in private window' (or similar type of message). Leave window open
3. Open up normal window, navigate to ifollow, it already sees me as logged in, navigate to match centre, no black screen.

I did try cleaning out cache before I stumbled on this, but didn't make a difference?

I know it sounds bonkers/flaky, but all I can say is that for me, on the last two matches, it's worked. Don't flame me it it doesn't though!!

When you say 'do the deal' its that part im struggling with.. as it won't let you buy the match pass itself. just says not allowed form this location. So how do you buy the match pass itself ?

Maybe you can do a private stream and we all bung you a fiver LOL

I've had it both ways, either paid for a pass and got a blank screen (which I was addressing above) or else wasn't allowed to buy a pass, which happened for the last away match. For the last match I had to re-register (you can make up any email address, as validation is not required), but then had to do the dance again: once registered via a normal window, open up an incognito, navigate to ifollow, then open up a normal window and navigate to ifollow (as I recall, I actually closed down the first window but found I was already logged in, and could buy a pass).

Why do I feel I'm going to find myself fecked in doing this tomorrow?

Had similar issues but found a solution. Fingers crossed it solves issues for others too.
So the reason it has worked for others when switching browsers is because your browser stores a cache which I belive includes your geolocation. So if you clear your browser cache (in advanced options in chrome, along with history etc), then go to the site using your chosen VPN with adblockers turned OFF. That should allow you to view the games.

Good man!

I guess clear cache before trying it today and then in between

So long as you have your VPN on when you clear the cache, and don't turn it off throughout the game, you shouldn't need to do it again until next time you want to watch.

Have tried 3 different providers and multiple locations but all blocked (with cache clears in between)

Are folks using paid or free/trial VPN's that are having trouble watching?
Got a paid VPN myself but never tried iFollow before.

Even with paid ones they seem to be blocked :( Tried about 3 different companys and about 10 - 15 servers on each

Well, none of the usual shenanigans worked straight off. Had to re-register and use a new vpn (SetUp VPN), and even then got the black screen unless I did the old incognitio shite. Anyways, I'm up and running

Close everything, turn on the vpn, try to log in, get told "access is restricted", turn off vpn, refresh page and it's working.

Does it for me using safari on a mac.

What happens when you then login and try to watch the match?

I’ve found it increasingly hard. Seems to be the servers IPs are getting blacklisted over time & this is causing the issue.

Hardly rocket science though - 2,000 people all watching & logged in from the same IP kind of a give away ;)
