Akhbars is OK actually and even that one near the Albany is OK now but The Edge in Kenilworth if you can do it is the best in the area

Royal Bengal in Earlsdon. Always rammed so you'll need to book.

The Ocean is good at Jubilee Crescent, but it's always a bit of a squeeze in there.

However we got a takeaway from Asiana in Holbrooks the other night and it was really nice

Pickles is excellent, i used to use Akbars all the time from when it was the small restaurant as i knew Nas very well but think the place lost something when it changed,
Railway club is good think of the Farmhouse but with a tv in every booth so if you go to the game and there is a late game on BT or Sky a curry, a pint or three and you own booth to watch the game is a good way to end the day

Best I’ve had was Shah’s in Wellesbourne but it burned down last month. Think he’s got a place in Kineton aswell. Bit far out from Cov I guess but only a couple of miles for me :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The Lions Inn (The old Cedars pub in Coundon) is v good with lovely furnishings!

Ally's Balti up Earlsdon is bloody great food, not the smartest place but you can bring your own booze too.

Go past the lions inn most days, keep meaning to go in there!

IS the restaurant separate? When I go places and take the family dont like going into "local pubs".

You'll be fine with family, Nick, as it's really a restaurant and not a pub any more, unfortunately imo, but as a curry house it's good.

Best to book as it gets v busy.
