Think we have a potential captain in the making here. Absolutely quality and loved his passion after the final whistle. Top lad.

Think he’s now replaced stokes as my fav player.

Got to say though hyam was very unlucky to lose his place after that head injury.

Hopefully he will stay injury free, although Hyam is an adequate replacement, Davies and Willis are the best pairing.

Think we currently have the best crop of CB’s since we were relegated to league one.
Willis has massively improved as a player. Davies has been quality as has Hyam.
Young Thompson I think will be very similar player to Willis in future.

Willis and Davies is a top-3 CB pairing in League 1. Good mixture of pace and finally some ability to defend a long ball.

From day one I’ve been fan of this fella and backed him to be what we’re seeing of him this year, he epitomizes everything about what I want from a player in sky blue. He gives everything and more every time he walks out. A character in the dressing room and a leader on the pitch too.

He has been great since being here. I had heard a number of bad things about him (attitude) from some derby fans. Glad he's proved them wrong so far!!

He is allegedly a bit of a party animal. If he wants to be captain and also progress, that should stop that. Drinking carling on the way to the match is very bad idea, even if you are injured.

Crazy what can happen in a couple of seasons. We've gone from having zero leaders in a shocking side to multiple leaders in a team that (if their form continues) could potentially get us back to the Championship

I reckon they’re on about the lad we had on loan last year from them. Apparently was a right arrogant dick.

No Luke Thomas is a dick as well by all accounts, there was that video about him cheating on his misses, that was shared on here, and he's very arrogant.

Man mountain who should be the first name on the team sheet. So passionate. Hope we can keep hold of him long term, we have a lot of potential throughout the squad. Just edges Hyam but between the 3 centre halves we have, all are top drawer at this level.

I hope that those calling for Robins head after a couple of defeats will take a deep breath, look at the bigger picture and see just how far we have come in a relatively short space of time.

With the context though that it was the last game of the season, big day out at Wembley and he was suspended and not travelling with the team, I really don't see the issue with it.

Ha ha... wanted is not quite the right wording but I seen the potential benefit at the time, but the bigger question is why did suggest the possibility of cashing in on him?

Was a few factors at the time the suggestion I put forward... twice I might add I did so.

Another like Lee Burge who’s benefited to dropping down a level for a season being backed weekly by a manager being given the confidence to do the job weekly. It’s ironed out the silly mistakes and developed both’s game considerably.

I agree. When we arrived at the Hilton on the morning of the final, we were met by Richard Wood - hammered - can in hand, fresh from banging in 2 goals a day earlier. Nothing wrong with players enjoying themselves as long as it’s at the right time.

It is 100% the wrong thing to do and the wrong image for a professional athlete. Booze culture days are over

It was the last game before a month off? Can understand if he was suspended for a game and rocked up tomorrow night on the beers.

I like that sometimes they are human and relatable. Much prefer him on the train having a can with fans than some of the twats who wouldn't want to breath the same air as the commoners.
