Wow!

Stat just come up about Raheem Sterling.

Last England goal Oct 2015.

Since then, in 27 appearances he has had just 4 shots on target. 0 goals.

In the same period for Man City he has 97 appearances, 34 goals and 82 shots on target.
You what you what you what you what you what :)

Who is this Sterling? Can't be Raheem. That would have been in the Keeper's arms if it was. I'll not believe it! It's humbug!

Here they are showing Iceland vs Switzerland with English commentary, Espana vs Inglaterra in Spanish only (on 3 different channels).

Well taken by Kane, good ball too. Rashford doing considerably better than on Friday this time.

Could have been a third, somehow Sterling's shocker of a pass turned into a great attacking move. Not sure how, but there you go.

What on earth is going on!? Spain are having a shocker, and Sterling with 2 goals!?

Sterling is like buses.

You wait 3 years for a goal from him and then 2 come at once

I'm convinced there are two Raheem Sterling twins. The good one normally just plays for Man City, whereas the crap one just plays for England. Obviously tonight they swapped with each other....

I really, really rate him, but would have dropped him based on that record of just 4 shots on target in 27 appearances and no goals. Last goal 3 years ago!

Really hope this is a turning point for him. He undoubtedly has bags of skill and does have a good shot there in his locker.

I loved Pickford's long kick that led to the third goal.
England showing Spain it's goals that count, not possession.

Exactly.

Nowt better than fast counter attacking football and sometimes route one is exactly the way to go.

I know Rashford scored, but would love to see Sterling on one side and Sancho on the other.

Think they would rip them to pieces.

Whilst wanking over long goal kick take time to appreciate how England also play it out from the back

Great to see we woken up to how big nations need to play
