Ogogo (1 Viewer)

Another one who will turn out okay in time, noticed a better performance today from Junior Brown now he’s obviously getting match fitter and some game minutes under his belt. Doyle was excellent today but I still expect Ogogo to step into his shoes in time.

He has come back from a long time out. If needed and if he plays a few games on the bounce like Brown he will do a good job in my opinion.
The Shrewsbury fans comments in this article say it all.

Half fit Kelly Well ahead of Ogogo

Disappointed in this signing so far tbh after a bright debut

Great options and depth in the middle of the park, something we haven’t had for a long, long time. Kelly, Doyle, Bayliss (who I must say is getting back to form since he’s been playing in the middle), Ogogo, with Westbrooke coming through are always going to make us competitive at this level.

Had him down as a potential player of the season after that first game.

Hope there's no problems behind the scenes with him, because there seems to be a great player in there.

I fear for his future at cov then. Mcdonald was your player of the season after 5 games wasn't he? *

*And rightly so btw

Ogogo set the bar high in His first game since then he’s been very poor.Slow,Sloppy & weak in the challenge.

Don’t think anyone will disagree tbh

Fitness not up to scratch

“He was just left out against Barnsley,” said Robins, who confirmed the player is not injured.

“But in fairness to Abs, I spoke with him on Friday and he worked hard on Saturday morning because I need him to train.

“There’s no point having him on the bench and not getting any fitter, so I pulled him out.

“Liam Kelly is fit after being really good on Wednesday night and Abs just looks a little bit short, so I am just trying to help him get to a better level, and he understands that.

“He worked really hard on Saturday so hopefully he won’t be too far away.”
