'Abhorrent' Jacob Rees-Mogg protest condemned - 'Abhorrent' Rees-Mogg protest condemned

How is that acceptable? No matter how horrible he may or may not be, there has to be common sense applied surely? No-one should be stooping to such levels.

If you have a problem with the man, protest against the man and only the man and leave his bloody family out of it.

Only just seen the video.

Firstly as you say I'd have got them in.

Secondly, I'd had twatted the old prick so hard his hat would have come off.

Surely the police stood there should also have seen his kids were being abused and at least told the old bloke to back off?

Not seen the footage yet. Did Rees-Mogg not take his kids inside then? Why wouldn't you? Surely you try and keep your work and family life completely separate when holding such a role.

This is New Labour. When they can abuse and threaten a true Labour hero like Frank Field what do people expect. Welcome to Corbyn Land

He's just stood there taking it, looking like a gormless twat while his kids are stood there listening.

Old bloke is a coward as well, if anybody said anything to him he would be straight to the papers.

Would have loved nothing more than the MP to just stick the nut on him.

Thought you'd have been busy voicing your displeasure at the Tories support for Victor Orban. I know how much you hate anti semitism.
And bone has nothing to do with Labour though people are saying this was remained a, I doubt he's one of them either

Oh dear deflector shields - Do you agree with the action against Frank Field?

Boris would have kicked his teeth out.

Surely whatever they are protesting about has just lost any credibility it was trying to get?

Yes. Any Labour mp who backed Tory austerity deserves what they get.
It's a policy that has failed and I'll save my sympathy for those it has thrust into poverty.

So calling him a c**t and abusing one his supporters who at 80 died of a hear attack is fine and dandy - brilliant

Thought you were on about the vote of no confidence. Wasn't aware of that abuse but of course I don't agree with it. Don't be ridiculous.

You know full well that this guy has nothing to do with Labour.

If you want to discuss antisemitism more, pop back when the Tories have adopted the IHRA definition and we can have a proper debate about the state of intolerance across all political parties.

the tories have adopted the IHRA, Theresa May said they had - oh I forgot, she was lying.

Absolutely unacceptable. Whatever you think of JRM his kids should be left out of it. Also anyone linking this with Labour give your head a wobble

Has Mr Corbyn condemned this behaviour?

what a ridiculous comment. Who has? Has Theresa May, has Caroline Lucas, has Nicola Sturgeon?
What is the obsession with getting Corbyns opinion on everything?

Did he condemn the abuse aimed at Frank Field?

Do you want me to make a list of all the things the tories haven't condemned and we can go round in circles all night? Does May comment on every incident involving tory supporters.
She even ignored the allegations of racism made my senior members of her own party and lied about the tories adopting the IHRA.
Yesterday they endorsed a far right anti semite.
The difference is, I don't try to make out the labour party is some bastion of virtue as you do with the tory party.
Time to come down off the moral high ground.

Loving your last paragraph.
Stood there and didn't get his kids inside.
Probably staged.
Cuntish behaviour if not.

Edit: just seen it was Ian Bone. A fucking roaster. Would pay good money to see him and Rees mogg in a fight to the death, preferably ending in a draw.

Rees-Mogg has been pretty chilled about it, saying "I'm a public figure, they were protesting, freedom of speech and no one was physically harmed."

The is what I hate so much about the press.

Screenshot_2018-09-12-01-06-24.png

Can't just be 'a mob'. Has to be a 'hate-filled leftist mob'.

Would they ever, ever put 'A hate-filled right wing mob'?

Can't papers just put up the stories on their front pages and then leave their opinions and slant for the editorials? Stuff like this just seems to want to stir up trouble and even more hate.

'Jacob Rees-Mogg and his young children were confronted outside their home by a mob'. What's wrong with just putting that?

I'm not just having a go at the right wing press here. I'm sure the Mirror do the same.

Really don't think there is any need for it at all, just like when there was a case where some woman was murdered years back and I think it was the Express (could have been the Mail) who plastered on their front page 'It was an immigrant that did it'.

I hate the press so much at times and you never know just how much is truth and how much is just political agenda and point scoring.

So you’re ok with the description ‘mob’ but you don’t like the ‘hate-filled leftist’ description.

Seems an entirely accurate, even somewhat lenient description imo.

I'm not happy with the term "mob" as it appears to be one nut job, who from earlier posts is anything but "leftist", but don't let that get in the way of a biased headline.
