Yes, excellent. The creator of Line of Duty, Jay Mercurio.

Great performance from both Madden and Keely Hawes.

Really enjoying it so far. Just the right blend of action and dialogue and have forgiven the silly little bits.

Don't see what the fuss is about. Clumsy storyline, poor acting and lacking in any real intrigue.

Very poor.

Thought opening 20mins excellent...edge of seat intensity. After that a little formulaic and predictable; troubled ex serviceman, main characters despite differences fall into bed etc etc. I’m sure there will be exciting and interesting episodes but it may just fade into obscurity.

Where's the poor acting? The two leads are both very good actors.

Holds intrigue for me, cos you are never quite sure what side this David Budd is on and you can see he is conflicted.

It's a bit daft in places, but then so too was Line of Duty and that's a really good show too.

I'm enjoying it. My 14 year old loves it too, though I have to fast forwards past all the sexy bits for her.

Really enjoyed the 3rd, keeps us engrossed like line of duty did.

What I dont get is where are the other bodyguards while he does her?

Under the bed and in the wardrobe, just in their boxers and socks.

Yeah enjoyed it. Had to bite my lip a couple of times and the interviewing of Budd by the investigation officers was quite unrealistic and laughable, but it's still really good TV.

What was weird was how 1 minute he was being treated like a criminal, next minute licking his arse and he was interviewing suspects with them.

Yeah, daft.

The first interview was as if he was guilty and disbelieving of everything he said and the next minute he's leading the terrorist prisoner interview.

Also made me laugh how the prisoner talked about a car park and no-one asked if it was a big car park, or small car park, or if it was a multistorey car park, or if it was near shops, or if it was busy, or what time of day they went.

Also made me laugh when the officer kept saying stuff for the tape's benefit (the suspect is now shaking her head etc.), but they then pulled out a load of photos without saying anything, past 'Do you recognise any of these'? There was no hint at all of a 'We are now showing the suspect a series of photos'.

Could have been several tins of baked bins or a load of her own underwear put out in front of her as far as any listener would know.

I really like it. Best drama the Beeb have had on for a while. Shocked that she died though, wasn't expecting that.

Must admit found last night a little dull and after previous episodes; I’m sure just a blip. So unbelievable (and ridiculous in places) it matches Vicky mcClure’s long distance sprint in line of duty. Hoping next week it builds again.

Last night's wasn't the best either. A lot of it didn't make much sense.

It's taken them how long to identify the sniper but still haven't figured out the link?

Loads of stuff that didn't make sense. Still thought it was a very tense and dramatic episode though.

Why did Budd make no attempt to cover or hide his 'gunshot' wound from his colleagues? Easily covered up by a bit of make up.

As you say, they would have had the list of all this shooter's regiment and made the link.

If the device was behind the photo frame the security services WOULD have found it, 100%. They search everything with a fine toothed comb and merely by lifting the frame they would have noticed a weight differential.

The security services could easily stop Budd. They know exactly where his wife and kids are.

Ha I thought that about the ending. They can find his gun inside roof tiles but couldn't notice that.

Yup.

If a search has been made they pretty much rip everything up and take everything apart.
