Anyone else watching? Sky Atlantic.

Great reviews and has the wonderful Amy Adams in the lead role. Based on the Gillian Flynn novel (she also wrote Gone Girl).

Amy Adams is one of my all time favourite actresses anyway and it also helps that I have always really fancied her too, but anyway, really enjoying it so far. Just one episode in.

We watched the first episode and really liked it, feels like a proper slow burner. Pick up little elements of other shows in there too, The Sinner with the flashbacks and Bloodline for the mad sweatiness everywhere.

Anyone stick with it? My favourite show of the year so far, what an ending.
Confused me, but I think I might have nodded off.

Did it make it clear about the two other girls? (don't want to give anything away). Amma's friends I mean.

If it did I totally missed it.

I had to Google at the end as to what happened.

My thought was
Camille's mum carried out the killings and Amma helped her.

It did, the mid and post-credits scene filled it in although I still had to read up to make sure what I saw

Amma's skater pals helped with the two initial girls, Amma killed her new St Louis friend alone.

Adora was guilty of poisoning her own daughters but not the other girls the investigation was based around, I think it was left in the air whether she knew about what Amma was doing all along though.

Yeah, realised all that after.

I just missed the bit with the two friends of Amma's. Saw the montage at the end, but it was so quick I couldn't quite see who it was.

Sort of missed the
tooth thing too
That might be my TV though. It's not great at all and any dark scenes is like watching just a black screen. I saw the one, but I understand it was the whole floor wasn't it?

It was yeah, screengrab here

The bit I didn't catch was when they were all round Curry's house for dinner and she looked at something the black girl was doing, apparently she saw writing but I rewound a few times and still didn't catch it

Me neither and yeah, that floor simply did not show up on my TV at all.

So you can tell I don't watch many film noir movies anymore and why Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins are two of my favourite films.
