Does anyone know of anyone who works at Elliotts? Have been trying to get through for the past couple of days on the number given on the tinterweb and it constantly says it's temporarily unavailable. It's also not a BT number so I couldn't ask them to look into it. Wouldn't be able to get there until Saturday.

I worked alongside Joe in the Garage (when it used to sell fuel) in 1969. I doubt if he'd remember me. His dad ran the place back then. (Sorry, but I don't have the number. Just thought I'd mention a bit of nostalgia! :) )

Its closing now. To be replaced by more student flats.

Closing down at end of August - site has been sold for development. 50% off everything - maybe they sold the phone too?
Sad really - a Cov institution. Bought my first car radio in there in 1983!

To be bought buy the rich and rented out to students

Yeah, it will be occupied mainly by students that close to Uni guaranteed.

By that logic the Prior Deram houses are student flats. As is every new build within 5 miles of a uni.
These are 1/2 mile away, if that!

How can a HOUSE in Canley be a Student FLAT? 90% of houses in canley being bought within the last 3/4 years has been bought solely for one purpose.I
