Those in italic and underlined can play in a different position if required but not specialists like sterling for e.g . I will be honest i do not know vincentes position after a year, but i do like the kid despite thinking its best he leaves now.

So far so good, if we can get rid of vincente and beavon and send ponticelli on loan, bring in mcgoldrick(or any striker) and we are pretty much set for the season?

GK and up top are our two weakest areas now
agree

burge has played well in 2 finals and overall last season was defintley an improvement but maybe we should end it on a high? we all know at some point in league 1 hes gonna do a ridiculous fuck up.

that said i have more confidence in him now than i ever have

as for striker i want mcgoldrick or armstrong! aim high!

Burge I think now works for Argos.

Tried to put a transaction through last night for a purchase and it came up on the screen with 'handling error.'

I think Jon McGauchlan the former Burton Albion GK is available after a year up in Scotland
Two promotions and a season of Survival under his belt with the Brewers.
Now on the move, has played internationally .
I don't know If I'm wrong but I thought the guy in goal for NI was on their books ,must be wrong ,he also was very useful though .
A little side note while I've been googling .
Stephen Bywater has recently been in court for threatening two delivery men with a sword after accusing them of scratching his kitchen floor Whilst delivering a new cooker .:p

The forward line looks poor in terms of goals. If McNulty doesn’t cut it, gets injured or leaves it’s a team with few goals in it.

What? You no longer rate your beloved JCH?

I would hope that the midfield will create more chances per game this season and hopefully not just mcnulty will take advantsge of this

I’d like to keep Stokes but he’d be back up now at LB and 5th choice CB so wouldn’t be surprised to see him at somewhere like Cheltenham or Northampton

Cheltenham would be a shout as he is from down that way I think, maybe even FGR again?

Edit: Cheltenham have signed hussey I think?

Be expensive to put 50 foot netting around their ground to keep his crosses and shots in a 2 mike radius!

Stokes could easily do a job at CB in L2.

Although Jones, Allassani and Andreu will probably offer more than we had last season

Whether their defence is still a bit too leaky to achieve the top 6 is a question some will raise, but I am backing them to sneak into the playoff spots. I am tipping them for 6th place, although I feel it will be tight with Plymouth and Luton for that final spot.
Not too worried if the defence is a bit leaky, we have more than enough ballers in our squad to do well.

Agree with this - think the midfield should have a few more goals in it this season - albeit at a higher level

AFAIK it currently stands at:

GK: Addai (option)

RB: Hickman

LB: Brown, Mason, McCallum

CB: Davies (possible option), Rose, Hyam, Drysdale, Williams, Thompson, Ford (option)

CM: Kelly, Bayliss, Shipley, Westbrooke, Maycock

RW: Jones, Wakefield

AM: Chaplin, Ngandu, Burroughs

LW: Hiwula, Alassani, Walters

ST: Baka, Biamou, Bremang, Ponticelli

That’s not including any new deals or academy grads.

From that I’d sign (funds allowing):

Experienced GK
Young GK x 2
RB x 2
Experienced CB
Experienced CM
RW
AM

Release all the options and Maycock.
