I've got an S5.

That's the most modern phone I have ever had. I am on a sim only deal though, so have to buy all my phones.

I do like Samsung.

I have the s8 plus, it’s a great phone apart from dropping the fucker! Don’t think the s9 is much different to be honest

Thank you. Was leaning towards the s8 as its a lot cheaper than the 9 at the minute. The OnePlus 6 looks good.

My s7 contract is up and i've switched down to sim only, save a few bob. Can't see anything that would make such a big difference to warrant committing for another 2 years.

Having said that, do like the look of that Huawei P20 Pro. Dunno if the processor specs etc. compete with the latest Samsungs, but the large screen and tripple camera is appealing. Not on a par with a proper DSLR camera I guess, but it does look good for what it is.

Sony aren't too shabby these days either, Even Moto's represent good value.
Get with it guys go andriod value mode and teach IPhone and Samsung less so, not to rinse you .
Put more into your pension plans etc, these transient trappings will seem trivial as you look back on these days.
Unless you're minted of course.

I dislike iPhones with a passion.

All the kids swear by them though and my daughter is absolutely thrilled she's got an iPhone 5!!

Old model and refurbished too, but still £200.

Battery is crap on it too and of course you cannot change the battery.

I’ve done the same, pay about 15 per month, rarely use my credit.
