How? That would mean the club would then have to effectively buy the vouchers / shirts from Just Sport to give away?

but they wouldn't be buying them for the 50 quid difference!
Like I said, I could see issues and there's probably better ideas out there but I don't think the club did enough to capitalise on the Checkatrade feel good factor it would be a shame to make the same mistake again.

if the Marketing want to hang its hat on something different then look at the link in the Coventry Telegraph showing a young supporter crying(Lewis Garton) over the fact that Jack Grimmer gave him his shirt and City have made it to the play off finals, this young lad has not known the adversity we older generation have suffered and to let the young lad walk out with the players on monday would be coup for the club. Make him the face of the season Ticket campaign its ready made for them

Because you were making a big song and dance about it waiting for somebody to ask you what it said, when you could have just googled and got Mark Hornby's email address within seconds and from that had a pretty good idea on what Boddy's is ;)

Song and dance is a bit harsh there, Nick.

I did find Mark's email address but I wanted to send it to David too. As this is a quite booming CCFC forum, posting a 'u ok hun' cry out was fairly justified on this occasion I would say.

4 options for me for those who have already purchased. The receive the value of discount offered in one of the following ways - their choice

1 - Discounted future season tickets spread over 3 years
2 - Where possible an upgraded seat
3 - Upgrade to hospitality once or twice in the season
4 - Free tickets for family and friends

Anymore ideas?

So if you didn't want to be asked what it said.... Just look at Mark's email address and Dave Boddy's would be obvious ;)

Just sounds like a woman making a big point about something but not actually saying, hence he walked into it ;)

A cast iron guarantee that all funds are invested on the playing staff.

People don't mind buying Wembley tickets without a legal agreement do they? It's bollocks trying to use that as a reason for not getting a season ticket or bothering all of the other times.

Nah, I think it's fully reasonable to ask a question rather than have to guess something. I know exactly the types you are on about, but that wasn't my honest intention.

Anyway, you should be loving this thread. People are putting forward ideas about how the club can improve and make the most of the final, rather than just complaining (which I know you hate). The more that get behind this the better I say.

All they need to do for current ST's is advise that if they can get a surge of eg 2,500 additional season tickets from this push then they will get the £50 back too - an incentive for everyone to get behind it and encourage others to get up there. At the end of the sale just communicate that despite best efforts only 2,499 were sold during the window and the additional 1 due to a computer failure was just outside :)

Never see any plain and simple advertising done, billboard facing out from the ground not once have I seen an advert on the there plenty of cars pass by each day .They could have a word with Nick get an advert put on here mind you he probably charges the earth. I thinks simple things like that could be cost affective. ,I have not heard from our beloved chairman for ages (is he still alive) even it's controversial keep the club in the limelight. They need to bang the drum and let everyone know there here.

Surely its better to let Robins bang the drum and times like Friday then anything Fisher could ever dream of saying?

I'd quite happily but an advert on here for free, but don't because then it isn't as independent...
