In the playoff's 2nd leg games in the Championship and League one,it has been the home side that has progressed to Wembley,Villa,Fulham,Rotherham and Shrewsbury,of course that can all change this evening with Exeter v Lincoln,if not, would definitely need this trend to change tomorrow.

And I believe they have only lost twice at home in the league all season.

I never really understood why playing at home second was the advantage (unless it went to extra time and pens) which none have so far...

but obviously it is a thing!

No, tbf I wanted us home 2nd leg but nothing to do with advantages etc. More because logistically it would of been easier to travel to Notts on a Saturday rather than book half days holiday, make up an imaginary dentist appointment to get my son out of school earlier etc. AND the last time we played at home on a Friday was a good, enjoyable evening. Good weather, good result, good atmosphere. I also think had we of nicked a win at their place we'd of sold maybe another 5 or 6 k tickets back at ours.

Don't want to put the kiss of death on it, but we usually win when we play on Friday evenings

The weather will be good - we are a footballing side - one quarter of the Ricoh was unplayable on Saturday as Grimmer found out and they scored with their one shot - we have 4500 of the most passionate fans to down out any northern tosh - i would say we are in the mix

Since when has Notts County been the North?
Coventry is literally just by 5 miles in south of England with Meriden perceived as centre of England. Both are south if you consider UK (whole different topic).

Personally don't like the North v South stuff. People are just people. Same goes for comparing countries.

That aside, let's hope the footballing team wins!

Just read a worrying statistic, Notts County have moved divisions more than any other club.

But haven’t won in the playoffs since before I was born, think it was around 1990 if I remember what I read correctly.

I’m just going to enjoy the game, think we’ve got a decent chance of winning, if not, we prepare for autos next season (hopefully).
