Anyone else on here avid golf fans? I've really got into the past couple of years. Still a 28 handicap but love going out once or twice a month playing with mates on a number of courses on the South Coast.

If anyone has any tips for any good golf mental coaching books, I'd be interested to know.

Also, great to see Rory win this weekend. As a proud NI-man, it's great to see him back in the winners circle again. The Masters is going to be great next week. Very open this year....could be one of 10-12 that could win it.

It'll be alright as long as they restrict the alchohol sales .
A recurring theme of Rory's and rightly so IMO .

Agreed. American fans with Alcohol are idiots. 'Get in the hoooole', 'Cheese and ham toastie'.....they're just idiots.

What do you mean though Wingy about a recurring theme of Rorys?

He's raised this about heckling several times IIRC .

Sorry, I see what you mean. Yep.

Saying that, I think the 16th hole on the Phoenix Waste Management tournament a few weeks ago is great. As a one off though. Players seem to like it.

All the other times, they are annoying though.

I love playing however it was an ultimatum of golf or cycling and the latter wins. I still go to Portugal with the boys each year which is great long weekend playing some amazing courses

Funny we’re talking about going next year. New baby could put a stop to that though.

We went to....think it was called Vale de Pinta and Gramacho a couple of years ago. Had a nice villa with pool just off the 18th. There was 12 of us and we split into two teams and played Ryder Cup format over the three days. Loved it.

I was like you with the cycling and golf but after LEJOG last year, the bike has been in the shed since September!
