After much huffing and puffing only 8th , teams above us with games in hand

A rose tinted FA cup run and no team improvement

How can this be tolerated in Division 4 , one up from non league ?

Over inflated squad

No plan b or c

Answers on a post card to some address in Derby please

Shut up.

We're within a win of the automatics and for the first time in years we're coming towards the run-in with a serious chance of promotion. There's a good feeling around the club thanks to team and atmosphere created by MR.

Do yourself a favour please.

Really ? Do you think that being 8th place is acceptable given we were relegated down here?

Can you explain why we are not in the top three ?

Should we be higher up in this awful league? Yes. However the league is tight and one win could push us up 2 or three places. Sacking Robins will do us no good whatsoever.

I do not see why not getting promoted ought to be a sackable offence. He needs a couple of years in charge, even if we stay down. As long as we're competitive this season, which we are at present, then he deserves time to work on the rebuild. Let's see where we are in Feb 2020. If we're not up by then, I will probably agree.

Ffs what a load a bollocks.

I could not give a tuppeny fuck what you think it’s irrelevant , the fact remains as it stands we are 8th in the league and I need a decent well thought explanation into why we are in that position. Thank god for McNulty else we could be out of this league

So come on someone tell me why we are 8th

There has been a malaise throughout the club for more years than I care to remember. It will take some years to turn that around and change the culture, not just a few wins or signings. Robins has been here for less than a year and won a Wembley final.

Patience!

The final at Wembley means basically nothing to be fair, we are playing village teams and getting beaten , this is a make or break season if we stay here then I can’t see us going any where else for years

Still no answering

No I’m gutted wee are 8th. But I felt like that after numerous games this season like Morecambe. Exeter etc. We win the next two games. And all of a sudden we are will top 3 that’s how tight it is. We still have more than a third of the season to go.

The table is sorting it out. We are well in the mix for automatic promotion.

Yes it’s frustratiing We yo yo between from 3rd to 8th on weekly basis.

You need to start giving teams in this league and above us some respect mate.

They aren’t village.

Burton, Fleetwood, Scunthorpe, Shrewsbury, Accrington, Morecambe, FGR. Give them some respect.

Is it fuck make or break. If we don't go up this season we might go up next seaso. That's how the football league system works.

It isn’t - any other club would sack Robins if he failed to deliver this season.

Luckily I know how to use an abacus .

But do you know why that is ? Is it because Mismanagement of a top league budget for instance ?

No answer to what, why we are 8th? It doesn't need answering because the answer is obvious.

It's fine to be frustrated that we are dropping points against lowly opposition, and you look above us and you see plenty of sides we have beaten, including the top 3, so it is very frustrating. But, we're in the mix and there's a long way to go. No need to get hysterical just yet.

I have to say all those teams you mention , I never will respect . The only team in L1 I give some respect for is Pompey the rest are just cannon fodder

So what’s the answer ? It needs an explanation , please ?

I will wait

To be honest we seem to adapt to mid table of the league we are in. With a margin of error that is always downwards..
We did it in the Premier, Championship and L1 for several years each, with the the margin of error seeing us relegated.
I can see the same happening in this league if we don't get out this year.

Yes, but we then have the four clubs that will come down from League One in the mix.

Of the 4 that went down last season both the City and Swindon are right in there challenging for promotion from League Two this year.

Could well have at least two more challenging next season from the clubs that are relegated and of course Lincoln who came up from the Conference are challenging too this year and it quite often that happens that one of the teams that is promoted could be pushing too.

We might easily get swallowed into the mediocre mix next season, whereas this season we are considered one of the big clubs of this division.

I honestly think this is the best chance we are going to get, this season and I am worried about the prospect of another year down here and I would expect the crowds to drop a little more next year too.

Tell you what though. I wish we went out of the cup earlier so we have 100% focus on the league. And maybe we wouldn’t be losing players to injuries. All ifs and buts, but less games can only be a good thing.

It makes no difference for us. We just keep going down.
Other teams don't seem to make this excuse.

Exactly my thoughts too.

And then next year we will be bemoaning why we didn't take the opportunity this year and analysing where it all went wrong.
