For me it was Boxing Day, Elland Road, Huckerby scoring the third (he terrorised the Leeds defence all afternoon) after we were one-nil down.

I ended up hugging a complete stranger and dancing in the aisles. Both very unusual events for me.

The future looked very bright for us at that time.

David Platt against Belgium in the 1990 World Cup.

Alan Shearer against Germany in the 2000 Euro's.

Regis's goal against Sheff Weds in the QF of the 87 FA Cup.

The 3rd goal (Garry Thompson?) Against West Ham in the 81 League Cup semi-final, after we came back from 2 down to win 3-2.

Home was when Leon Clarke got that 90th minute winner against Preston in the JPT. Meaningless game really but two 90th minute goals when the Preston fans were giving it loads and I had several beers in me.

And Moldovan v Villa, but I was a youngster then and I much preferred the celebrations as I got older.

Went mental and when I started to calm down I was in the 18 yard box. Can't even remember going over the fence.
Wasn't at the previous game away to Stoke but by all accounts when Oggy saved the penalty it was off the scale madness.

Same! Have told my kids about the euphoria of that goal. I'm lucky enough to have seen Houchens header and the 4-0 battering of Liverpool but the eruption of relief and joy when Killer's strike hit the back of the net was immense. I think there was only about 14,000 there but noise we generated was unbelievable. I never doubted we'd beat Everton after that.

Dublin v Liverpool last minute winner at Anfield 1997.

We were down the front getting ready to exit when we won a corner. The stewards were crouched around the perimeter, one of whom - only a young lad - we were winding up saying to him if this goes in, we're on that pitch!

Que goal and grass stained knees when rugby tackled by said steward.

Good points Fernando and well taken. Just looked up that actual game again - we were 1-0 down and then scored 3 goals away at Leeds (who were a big deal at the time) within 10 first half minutes. That's why I went mental. And Huckerby was sensational. I guess my feeling at the time was that given the players we had on the pitch: Whelan, Hucks, Dublin, McAllister was that this was the launchpad to future success. With the right manager and with the budget that we had back then - it should have been so much more.

Elland Road - Ndlouv belter into the top corner, we were on the side, looks brill on screen, about 1,000+ Cov fans going mental

Goals at Wimbledon with the famous pitch invasions in the late nineties

Gary Mabs knee at Wembley when I was 14

List could go on but there have been plenty of times when I’ve lost legs and arms and almost had a heart attack after Cov scoring....

Good Times and tbh it beats marriage, sex, porn and steak hands down...

A couple of people have already called out 2 of my favourites - Gary Thompson (my 2nd Sky Blues hero after Ian Wallace) against West Ham and Nuddy away at West Brom in the Cup but my all time favourite was Peter Bodak away at Man City in the FA Cup in Jan 82. We were hanging on at 2-1 and they were all over us but a simple ball from Butterworth set Bodak off on a long run on his own from midway in our half and then he had the audacity to chip Joe Corrigan from the edge of the penalty area. Cue bedlam in the top corner of the Kippax and lots of unhappy locals.
