Really was some superb moves off the training ground!

Can see myself coming back from the Guinness run on the first try : D
Good to see you didn't let the first try get in the way of a couple of pints
Just enjoying the overall positivity around CRFC at the moment, hope the wheels don't drop off anytime soon.

On a note of pints really good set up now bar straight as you inside the turnstiles and I noticed the 'Cov Can Bar' at the railway end, finally making it easier for people to grab a beer, took 30 mins v Moseley last year, 1 person serving and ran out early 2nd half!

Club is moving forward in so many areas!

Tim's updates are fantastic and he's who I follow for the updates. He writes 3/4 really good blogs a week on all things Cov RFC really worth a read for the inside track

Coventry RC - The 19:14 from Allesley Park: a view from the stand

That's his site
I see that SBT and this thread in particular is mentioned in his last but one blog, talking about spreading the CRFC word with friends, family and in the community. He is surprised there is a CRFC thread on a CCFC forum.....so well done ISSS.

Missed that blog will catch up later, Tim seems like a really good bloke.
Glad there is others on SBT that follow CRFC & can contribute!

Thanks to Nick for pinning this thread only noticed the other day, I thought it'd dropped down, then couldn't find it before spotting it was pinned!

Happy to sticky it :)

I'm not sure why he is so surprised about ccfc fans supporting crfc though.

Cov drop to 2nd with Darlington MP going to top having claimed 3 bonus point wins!

Massive game at the BPA next Saturday v 3rd placed Blackheath
Bizarre that Darlington are top with 3 bonus points, and yet I believe have won 2 of their games by 1 point. Big game for Cov this Saturday, really looking forward to it, confident we can beat Blackheath and go back to top spot by Saturday evening.

Interesting Cov made 6/7 changes last week rotating a very big squad in a game they did expect to win pretty easily and nearly lost, I expect the 15 that's named tomorrow will be very similar to side that started v Moseley.

Also on Old Albanians they had 10 Saracens contracted players playing last week which is crazy, it appears there is no restriction to dual registrated players!

I'm not sure when those 10 signed and if it was for just the Cov game or what.

Not quite mate, Pete White starts in place of Brazier at scrum half but not much between them anyway. I can't see it being anything other than a fiercely contested game and looking forward to it immensely.

Ah my apologies!

Probably the 2 best defences in the division would take some effort for either side to take 5 points!

Will it take much effort this time to get your 5 pints before the first try is scored? :emoji_relaxed:

I wish, can't make today unfortunately & with Tim away and CRFC not updating their twitter during games it won't be easy to get score updates!

Will be back up for the next home one v Bishop Stortford in 2 weeks!

Latest table-

Cov away at Esher next week.
DMP home to Caldy
Plymouth away to Loughborough

DMP should have too much for Caldy at home, Loughborough tend to get better as the season progresses and Cov have had a couple of reverses at Esher in the last 2 seasons. Wouldn't surprise me to see DMP and Cov still unbeaten after next week and Plymouth having a narrow win against Loughborough.

Loughborough students after Freshers week has to be the way time to play them for Plymouth ; )

Yeah think Esher have been a bogey team away for Cov in recent years.

Just looking ahead at the fixtures as it appears the top 3 may be in it for the long haul Cov play Plymouth home end of November first out the 4 games v the other top 3 so fair way off.
