Fisher looks to have said he thinks Wasps will do an extension, Wasps have refused to answer anything about it all.

No, it's a show to show they are doing something. End of the day wasps can charge whatever they like. They own the stadium ffs.

But it's quite obvious from the recent history wasps want us to stay and keep paying rent. So it seems like it is pressure to keep ccfc there which is good news as long as we are not ripped off which I don't think we will be personally. Just my opinion

For CCFC to stay there, Wasps need to open talks though.

He can't force them to do anything, nobody can as like you say they own it. They would be better off saying that rather than all the "legal noise" shite.

He still can't force Wasps to do a deal, for example if they don't want to.

Who realistically can he call in? It's a private rental agreement at the end of the day.

When asked by the Telegraph if they would be open to such an extension, Wasps declined to comment. The Premiership Rugby club has also failed to answer questions about what it would take to get talks back underway.

If that was CCFC there would be at least 7 or 8 articles. Would be interesting to see if anything is calling on them for answers also (also, as in as well as CCFC).

I agree, it would be good to have them all hoisted up to give answers but how much can he actually question them and what about?

Quiet a lot really and football governance is his pet subject. The main reason for him being there is to try and help sort out this impasse between sisu and Wasps but lots of things are linked. What I'm not sure is who will be there Wasps obviously but who in the sisu chain Sepalla sisu head honcho or will it be Otium Entertainment who have our ccfc under their wing, who are their directors Fisher ? Venus ? Deering ? all three. Also could this out who these faceless investor/owners are ?

Parliament is always long game, it's not designed to give quick responses to ongoing issues but to gather evidence for a change in law later on. Best we can hope for is to another straw on the FAs back that might lead to reform in the game.

At this level we need to see the bigger picture. Us, Charlton, Portsmouth, etc all go towards making a case for legislation. Of course you've got a hard right government so I can't see them stepping in with regulation, maybe if you can make it a UKIP cause it'll get done, they seem to run the Tory party policy team these days. Anyone got Farages number?

Evidence for what though? Can it be anything in Sport? ie a contract disagreement between a player and club.

Im not saying anybody is wrong, as I don't know. That's what I'm trying to figure out

I do remember in the past he has said things like:

It should not be allowed to happen where we have a situation like Coventry’s where the team plays miles away from their home city

So I guess he would instantly take a dislike to Wasps

Mediation would be no bad thing, surely? It'd at least get them in the same room and talking.

At the end of the day, both parties will do whatever they choose, but they're more likely to find common ground if they actually talk!

These 'faceless investors' will be anyone and everyone looking to turn a profit on savings. They will be pension funds, trust funds, all sorts. They have no control over where the money is invested once it is handed over to SISU, aside maybe from some level of risk they are willing to stretch to. Their money will be invested in numerous different projects and businesses as well. Besides, with the fact there is no active 'investment' coming from SISU, and the club is being ringfenced, it would imply there are no investors left.

He has been very against clubs moving in the past, so it would be interesting to see his views on wasps. (He may have already commented)

Ideally, it needs to be somebody who is going to walk in the room and shout at everybody.

Wasps have been very quiet and refused to say what would be needed to start talks, when people say about pressuring Wasps it is things like that. If it was CCFC there would have been shit loads of articles about it, reader's reactions to it, a recap about it to drive it home. The trust would have then jumped on it with a statement and there would be outrage.

Wasps seem to just stop talks with an excuse that they have also played down and refuse to answer anything, and it doesn't really get a mention.

And its not even between sisu and wasps, its between sisu and the council on the councils decision making in a) bailing out acl and JR2 b) selling acl off under priced to wasps. If Sisu win or lose it will have very little affect on wasps.

He offered to mediate not do a public inquiry. He won't be doing a Jeremy Paxman on them.
