Can just picture when Rodney is left on his own at a committee meeting as chairman.

Should skybluetony end his obsession with an anonymous forum poster.

It's a yes from me.

Actually he made a very good case for himself on another thread but has gone shy on the subject. Just a bit of friendly encouragement.

Yes for me too and if he can't make any meeting at any time he can always send his valet to stand in for him.

It seems Tony is either Jim Carey or Robert Di Nero - either way his obsession is genuinely disturbing.

Just say you'll think about it then. Your club needs you.

Actually Tony it seems only one person needs me and that is you. You obviously spend most of your time obsessing about me. I'm disturbed by it and your constant PM's requesting me to "do dinner with you" but displaying this affection and obsession on a public forum is a bit embarrassing don't you think?

Read the thread?
Well it seems some "place on the board" whatever that means.

The existing members can re-apply which seems odd as well.

At the last election of this type how many people actually voted?

That role isn't even up for grabs Tony

You have to start somewhere. At least you'd be on the top table if not the top seat. Run, get elected, make a difference, get promoted. With your famous negotiation skills you'll be running the place within twelve months.

Actually a few of them wanted gto step down but nobody came forward to take their places so were persuaded to carry on.

from G's 'speech' said:
It's courting of unsuitable suitors, holding less than charitable charity heads in high regard, attendance at wasps games and it's total inability to make the council accountable for anything makes it rather unfit for purpose.

In my opinion.

Best way to make change is from the inside. Maybe G should step up - I'd vote for him.
It'll be like the old wild west, where you get the local nasty to be sheriff cause he'll take no crap and everyone's afraid of him.
