Sorry Mr Thorn it pains me to say it but we won't be fine.

Take a look at the table 2 wins from 17 doesn't suggest were going to be fine. A lot better yesterday but as we do in most games only put it in for 45 mins. Better team first half at Doncaster and Millwall never turned up second half. a disgrace first half against Southampton.:thinking about:

You can't polish a turd, the bloke makes mistakes of course but not as many at critical times as his players. The poor fella is fronting the sham and lie that is SISU and they have rewarded him with a squad full of teenagers. These kids I might add will be useful in League 1.............well of course till the hedge fund sell them off anyway.

If the OP is referring to an AT quote, might I suggest that it was in the context of "If we play like that every week, we'll be fine".

Frankly, if we play like that every week, we'll be about 9th. Of course, we won't, but it's hard to disagree with his sentiments unless you're the most one-eyed of all Thorn-haters.

While yesterday was a great team performance ,i don't think we should ignore the others of note this season admittedly not all with positive results ,Leicester, reading ,derby Forrest, leeds and palace ,Burnley thrown away in the last ten to twenty mins ,i seriously think we have a fitness issue and it sounds like we no longer have a fitness /conditioning coach.

The full-time guy got poached in the summer (was it to do the youth team fitness coaching at Liverpool, or maybe Everton?) and Thorn brought in someone he knew from his Everton days on a P.T. deal. We were blatantly no-way near fit and ready for the season, probably as a result of that plus the contrast between Boothroyds emphasis on fitness ("Sammy has never been this fit in his whole career (so I will now drop him)" being a classic Aidy quote!), and AT's preference for ball work. The rest is down to picking boys as we don't have any fit men. They don't have the same core fitness levels until they're 21+

"Having said that, they have proved today what they can do and if we can keep positive, keep believing in what we are doing, we will be fine."

Thats what he said. But he's been saying the same week in week out all season

If we play like that every week and get the same result we'll be rock bottom.

If West Ham play like that every week and don't get the result, they'll be just above us.
