Stephen hunt - Came to the fans after the game and passed his shirt to a young fan with his dad , lads face lit up .
Jacob Murphy - The lad cares , his confidence is shot and today when we attacked and it didn't come off , us lot down the front shouted "chin up Jacob lad , keep going " he turned and looked shocked , smiled and put his thumb up and said cheers .
Really hope the fans back him and the boys full on for the rest of the season .

Yes Murphy was crucified because the whole team played shit.
If the fans would have backed him a bit more I believe we would have kick started him and gone on to win.

Murphy is a talented and very frustrating player - however it was clear to see at Peterborough where he hit the post and was
unlucky with other chance that he is low in confidence and in his case really needs an arm round the shoulder rather than
a boot up the arse!! Unfortunately a lot of supporters only have the one method of coaching.....when going well overidolise the player
.......when not going so well.....boot up the arse! Sometimes the boot can pay dividends but less often than more often when
it comes to the fragile modern day footballer! I think we do all need to get behind the young lads/loanees for last few games. If we

Some players react to a kick up the arse. Some players need encouragement. Someone like Murphy you want to keep running the ball at their defenders, keep trying to burst into the penalty area. You want the crowd roaring encouragement everytime he receives the ball.

Maybe it's his Demeanour ? no doubt the lad has talent but , most of the time he looks like he doesn't give a shit, hence why certain fans will give him shit. not sure him taking that penalty , did him any favours ? why a senior pro didn't take it , is a strange one ie Cole.

I don't think that's true at all. He works hard and is involved in more than half of our attacks. His defensive work isn't great but have you ever sprinted 70 yards will the ball. That in energy sapping. I'd rather he focused on that then chasing attackers around in our half.

You're right on one thing, his defensive work rate isn't very good. Unfortunately his attacking one isn't very good either.

He's had a couple of average performances now, and suddenly people try to place disappointment on the shoulders of supporters that suggest he hasn't been making an effort.

He has been truly awful for the most part of the season, and these 70 yard runs happen about once, twice a game at most. Watch his movement, it's sterile unfortunately. He also likes to go and stand next to opposition players when we have the ball which is a little bizzare.

He might be short on confidence, but he only has himself to blame on that one. If he put more effort in he would see the results. Mowbray putting him on a pedestel doesn't help either.
