hope so mate but given sisus track record things could take a while.

my worry is sisu will still wait til after january as they know they will get money from selling juke and 1 or 2 of the kids.

at least we know there are backers waiting to take us on if worst comes to worst and we do go in to admin.

So do you think they won't step up unless we go into admin? Did you see the rumour about that guy from hong-kong?

Sounds to good to be true that hong kong guy rumour, and our track record this season it's probably 99% not true. *fingers crossed though ha*

You could also argue that the club is worth more with them though.

You don't get it do you? Sisu bought CCFC in the hope of fluking a quick promotion and thus getting a quick profit. That failed and so plan B was required. That plan was to raise and sell as many young pros. as possible. It matters not which division we in in order to do that and that explains their reluctance to spend money to keep us in the Championship. Young players with potential will always attract buyers; in fact, the lower the league their are in, the lower their price will be. That is our future with Sisu.

I hadn't heard anything about a specific Hong Kong investor but do know The Hoff was out there a couple of months ago, so could be linked to that. I think something will happen, my worry is that the team will be too cut off to survive this season in the championship. We really need to support the team and hope we can nick a few wins to give us half a chance come January.

well yes kind of.

but then that gets massively outweighed by the fact they have already spent the next 2 seasons season ticket revenue on the loan to keep us funded this season, so any perspective new investor has a major liability on his hands when they take over, so in effect the club is worth absoloutely nothing even with the bells, mcpakes and bakers of this world signing contracts, the debt far outweighs the players value.

so a £1 offer for the club is massively over the odds, sisu shud be paying people to take the club off them ffs!

sisu had £20 million of the clubs debt wrote off they day they took over yet the club is back in as much debt again as it was when they took over!

I would say the club is potentially worse off since Sisu took over financially.

Remember Ryton is now re-mortgaged as well.

There are no tangible assets at the club.

So Hoffman's offer of £1 is more than enough, considering all the debt that needs to be taken off SISU.

I doubt very much that it got writtd off. Why would any creditor agree to that as soon as a shiny, new owner comes in?

Was Ryton not a short term mortgage though? I also dont understand the finances of how the £1 hoff bid would have delt with the debt?

£1 is nothing to do with the debt.

Hoffman VALUES the club at £1 because of the debt that needs to be taken on.

and the debt is the original £20m they took from CCFC when they took over plus the extra debt which i believe has been accrued.

God; how I hate this Sisu lot! They are lying, cheating spivs and the quicker they are history the better. I really don't care any more whether Hoff. has any money or not; at least he is a fan like us and will give a sh@t!

My understanding and I am not sure if Brinner and co have heard this, but SISU want to get more interested parties in CCFC to play off each other in a bidding war.

This won't start to unfold until after Jan once SISU have pocketed a few more £s from player sales with an exit strategy in place at the end of the season.

I actually think Thorn knows this, if you read between the lines of his interviews.

If we can keep up with Watford and the other just above us we may stand a chance. If we are with in 4-5 points of fourth bottom and then significant investment is in place for January we may be able to beat the drop.

How many times have I heard from the shitsu supporters about its not their fault they inherited the debt,

i have known and understood this but it seems a few still think shitsu are doing us a favour

A certain G Robinson and Mcginity wrote off their debts to the club .. where have you been all these years if you are unaware of that plus a lot of other small investors and small business' that lost money

I agree...our job right now is to support the team as best we can. Turning up in numbers will give them confidence regardless. Phew...this is all too much really.

Im all in favour of new owners and I think it will happen but I don't think people should get their hopes up expecting it to be in time for major invstment in january. Its more likely to happen after the window has shut or end of season. No facts like some claim just gut feeling and you know it isn't going to be straight forward with Sisu.

I pay no heed to the constant drip of people who are supposedly in the know. Until something happens, I'm not interested in silly "I've heard this" or "I've heard that".

We thought we had that too and were still duped. I want to wait for the ink to dry before getting excited again.

All these lonely people. Where do they all come from?
