He's taken a pay cut . By a huge coincidence Zoe Ball just about becomes the highest paid presenter with her pay rise, and the BBC have been banging on that a woman is now the highest paid presenter.
Well that's settled, absolute parity in pay for both sexes. Let's hear no more from the ladies that there's an unfair pay gap.
I actually think this is bad for women in the long run.

Zoe Ball is the most inept and bloody annoying radio presenter I've known in my life. Every guest she goes " I'm your biggest fan and I love you so much" , Christ she can't speak to anyone without telling them " your the best ever and I truely love everything you do". Even to the traffic and weather people she goes totally overboard. Christ how far does she want to go up their arse with her unrelenting " your amazing" bullshit.
I switched off ages ago, I have radio 6 on going to work, and coming home, they have great music on and the presenters are normal.
The world has gone mad if the BBC are paying such an inept presenter as Ball, 1.2 million a year
