That must of been from the scarf tied around the wrist era...quite bizarre fashion statement really. I had a silk scarf tied around mine and received a kick in the nuts behind the west end from some random Brummie for my trouble.
I wonder if the dodgy “Robin’s [sic] Sky Blue Army” scarf I got at Wembley will hold the same nostaliga in 50 years
