I think the Leppings Lane end can hold upwards of 5k, but they usually only sell the upper tier which is around 3500-3700.

This could be a good one.

I think Hull took 3.5k and had both tiers, not sure if that was the full allocation, we had 15k crammed in there in 1987

Interesting to see what happens when we play Sheff Wed again and Kitching and Diaby meet up again. Will there be any bad blood?

According to Hull's website they were given 2.5K and then a final extra allocation of 500. They limit numbers due to some safety issues with the concourse.

Yes, Liquicon you are correct, it was the quarter finals I was relating too. Semi final was on a Sunday and we were up the other end

We were more packed in for the quarter final than Leeds were for the semi. Having been to Hillsborough before I knew to head for the side of the terrace for the quarter final, but even there after Houchen made it 2-1 my feet barely touched the ground until the end of the match. Was a very weird feeling being carried by the crowd with no control over where you would end up. In the first half I also remember 100 or so Cov fans who had gone in the Wednesday end being escorted round to join us, which of course packed us in even further. The design of those closed pens at Hillsborough really was a disaster waiting to happen.

I remember for the 87 Semi we were in the home end. The huge banked stand. I hated it. I felt like I was falling forward all the time and had bouts of vertigo during the game. Probably the away stadium I have visited the most as a CCFC supporter.
