I guarantee the atmosphere will be nowhere near as good as this season and that will impact the team. they talk about the 12th man. now they are pricing many out of it. plus just seeing the cringe video from king has wound me up even more.

The longevity is not an issue - it’s not as price sensitive as you claim
I’m not sure of your point, there will be quite a few families, who, if they want ST’s, will move to the family zone to save money, you only have to look at twitter, Facebook, comments here etc to realise that.
I don’t see it as a problem and I’m sure some will find the extra money to stay where they are but it is a big uplift if they do stay put with 1 it 2 children outside of the family zone.

Because there's hundreds of anti-social kids in block 14 who had JSB season tickets.

I hope they don't move because they make noise but that's what they are clamping down on.
This "singers corner" you describe often bears fuck all resemblance to the one I sit in every home game ;)

Basically to keep my seat in 21 there has been a price increase of 39%

Which ever way you look at it, they are taking the fucking piss. Hoping I can get in the family area with my mate and his two lads 🤞

You will, because the family area could possibly be up to 6000 seats.

Thing is ud have stayed where we were if daughters price was sensible so it's actually costing the club that's the bit they're missing. If I was 400 and her 200 then we'd stay and they'd get 600. Now we move and they get 350. 300 fir a 15 year old is too much up from 90 last year.

Probably not. I agree with that.

What I would hope is that people start carrying the atmosphere around the ground a little more.

Up until a couple of years ago the free / jsb tickets had to be in the family zone I think? Pretty sure that was the only option when getting my daughters probably about 2013 onwards.

hasnt been the case since I’ve been taking my son up since 2017. season ticket been included with jsb

Providing you’re not a concession and don’t go with any under 18s, the Premier League Season Ticket is worth it for next season. You’re essentially getting 4/1 on us going up (or about 25/1 if you sit in the premium zone). After that it is pointless - you’re better off getting a normal price ST and putting the money you’ve saved on Coventry to get promoted with the bookies.

My question is if I got the Premier League Season Ticket next season and we didn’t go up, could I revert back to a normal season ticket for subsequent seasons or would I have to keep paying the £500 until we went up or the scheme ended?

I was taking my son into 16 years ago on a JSB

Not opening the North stand feels a bit of an own goal. I'm ready to hand over cash for a Premier ticket but want my seat in North stand. Can't really find anywhere else I want to sit with enough seats for the people I go with. So likely to miss the £500 deadline and then what?

But thats how it has always been up until the last couple of years?

They can still sit wherever but just pay a little bit more.

I wonder if abuse of kid's tickets has risen since it was changed to be anywhere rather than dedicated blocks?
Considering they highlighted it the other day and this family zone change I’d imagine it’s quite significant.

I’m sure there been a number of people on here said in the past they get their ticket at kids prices.

There might also be a factor of kids getting involved in underage drinking etc and whether the club have a duty of care there (wasn’t underage drinking mentioned recently in the context of behaviour and pitch incursions?).

You can revert back but you would have to pay 500 each year to receive the free season ticket.

I get the point. People don't want to move.

I wouldn't want to move from Singers either but if I had to, I would.
That's your choice. I won't be paying a £448 price increase for two to keep our seats (and I was prepared to pay an increase). I know the position I like to watch a match from and will just see what is available as and when and if price is worth it .

Standard Area

Adult £400 / 23 = £17 per game
Child £200 / 23 = £8 per game

Family Zone

Adult £250 / 23 = £10.90 per game
Child £50 / 23 = £2.20 per game

Is it really the end of the world to go into a different stand? It is also going to be to try and stop people taking the piss on kids tickets. If you want to go and watch with your kids then it's amazing value and saving money on previous years.
The normal kids pricing is wank full stop

I'm going to renew because I don't ever want to sit in a family stand .. it's an awful matchday experience .

So I'm going to have to pay the 860

Which to be fair, makes it a £50 gamble for two opportunities of promotion.

I personally won't be doing it though.

Yep, seriously pissed off. Have perfect seats behind the goal above the steps where 10 of us sit across 2 rows and have done for the past 2 years. Prices are fine, personal annoyance but sure others will be in the same boat.
Brassed off about that. I sit behind the goal as I have a son that doesn’t like sitting in large crowds.

I’ll still get one but I doubt he’ll get one now. That’s £400 the clubs most likely lost just now.

Totally fair. I think that's why the club are doing it. Gives people the choice to pay more to sit in otherwise premium seats or less if they have kids elsewhere.

Just checked as I remembered we had Simeon Jackson / Fleck / OBrien in her first season as a JSB which was about 2015? It was dedicated blocks for JSB Tickets then.

It might have been the year before St Andrews it changed to anywhere, then at St Andrews it was dedicated blocks and then when we came back it was anywhere again.

I had a jsb ticket my whole childhood and didn’t have to sit in the family zone. You’re talking rubbish

As I’ve said prices were always going to go up, if we want to compete for top players, convince our better players to stay we have to pay top wages and be able to afford it if we go up it’s then a whole different ball game. What I will say is hats off to Doug King he’s acted before any promotion that might happen, cards on the table, there were always going to be belly aching but look at the packages, it ain’t too bad.

2014 / 2015

JSB MEMBERSHIPS

This season we are introducing free Season Tickets in the Family Zone for children aged Under 12 who are also Junior Sky Blues members, when they are accompanied by a paying adult or concession. An adult Season Ticket in the Family Zone will cost £184 with Concessions priced at £115.

It was. I think you still had to buy a season ticket and JSB membership back then too. (although the prices are gone I doubt it was £200)
