Hamer is back with his Bastardness.

I thought Sheaf played well this evening, so hopefully he keeps improving.

Any more?

My issue with Sheaf is he's too chilled out on the ball at times... Needs to be much more urgent..

Sheaf has improved significantly from a very bang average midfielder to one of our best players tonight. That’s after only a few games, so hopefully that trajectory continues.

Ostigard is an improvement on Rose and should start every game.

MR hasn’t had a full strength squad to choose from since the start of the season. However in a not so optimistic point, I also think he’s unsure on our identity this season.

Godden has proven he can score at this level of he gets opportunities to do so.

Some of the opposition don’t look great if we can get it together, there’s points to be taken off these teams

Pre season a lot of people thought we would be challenging issue is now people are coming back down to planet earth,we need to be braver and adapt some sort of attacking threat Robins can’t let long balls to Godden carry on

Agree, he wants too much time on the ball and gets caught in possession too often.

Stay in the mix till Jan but we have to bring in at least 2 players who can make a difference maybe Liam Walsh on loan a proven striker who can play the target man role I wanted Chris Martin when he was mentioned,I was in shock when robins said our business was done before window closed

We’re still run very poorly as a football club, wouldn’t expect any big signings in Jan.

Sheaf and Hamer are decent. Kelly to come back. Dabo still to show us what he showed us last season.
Was really poor tonight though.

I would rather get relegated than spend money we don’t have. If that means we can’t be competitive then so be it

Sometimes there are times to overspend as way of investing for the future of the club and improving the clubs future. Today football is run like a business and we have to accept this mind set.

Most clubs in the Championship have spent beyond their means to remain in this division in hope of reaching the promise land, being the Prem league. I say that is ambition.

I do think if Sisu really want City to survive in the Championship they really need to invest further otherwise I am also wondering if they may now be in a better position to sell up whilst we still in the championship and get the best offer they can than they would if we back in League1.

Who knows what their real plans are for the club.

We have spent around £3m, I would wager that is more than the two clubs who came up with us put together

To survive in Championship we may need to spend more £3m more. I rather be in Championship with a £6m debt and and better TV income on top of fan income than vanquished in league 1 scrimping and saving.

Don't want to be a yo yo club.

Could understand this mentality if you're a major investor. But as a fan? Nah. I don't care if the system is broken/the economics don't make sense - you play the game to win, that's why we're all here. We're not going to do an open top bus parade if we finish the season 24th with the healthiest wages-turnover ratio in the league.

I'd personally prefer if the club actually existed in 5 years time...

Whilst in Championship and the income that comes in compared to L1, I think we have a pretty good chance of still being around. Being in League1 is where I would fear this more.

We haven’t spunked a shit load more money than we earn and taken part in the madness which is the championship bubble.

We have players who will improve and were seemingly bought/developed because they will:
- Hamer
- Dabo
- Sheaf
- Walker

(Ostigard, Mcallum, hopefully Giles...I know these aren’t ours but can still come a long way in a season)

I’d say us getting promoted was a turd being polished

You're joking right? 🤣

If matches weren't postponed, we would have eased through the remaining games. We were unbelievably good.

Unfortunately, at the moment the championship is too much, but we aren't a million miles away. Just need some tweaks and we should be able to stay up.
