Will our extended break and long pre-season give us an advantage over other championship teams or will we be a lot more rusty as they’ve been back playing since March??

Rest is good and teams may change players and managers so we may be more settled and ready for new season as alot of our players already know the system and formation

In theory yes but we will also have had 6 or so months off so match sharpness may not be there, despite pre-season. Focusing on doing well in pre-season will be key - no need to worry about other teams so long as Robins gets recruitment right.

It’s a good question , everyone else ran there testicles off when we were relaxing and preparing , we should do well this season ! Mentally others will be very tired as well

Might take us a few weeks to catch up but should work to our advantage towards the end of the season.

Tend to agree but as a newly promoted team with less quality, then getting off to a flyer carrying over confidence and momentum could be equally crucial. Hopefully we can nick the old result before we reach peak match sharpness.
