Yup. It's all well and good looking at what he has done elsewhere, but what service has he had? How many chances in front of goal has he been getting? Will he create assists for others here?

Not at L1 level he wasn't...and I think if McNulty had stayed and scored around 10 in 40 games for us next season, we'd call that a failure and say he should have taken the big move whilst he had the chance!
