so what is the next stage in this process? Are other parties now able to make a move towards owning the club or do SISU still have a say in that?

Pompy haven't ha anything deducted yet. As punishment they were given David Connolly on a free.

Let's hope that's the end of it but you need to come through the admin first to be sure, there is still the report back to the court yet, if something is exposed in that the could be more but hopefully not. The one plus on your side is if it is as bad as it possibly could be the FL will be as eager as anyone to cover it up.

Have pompey actually had their diduction yet?

As I understand it no they haven't. For some reason they will get theirs deducted when they exit admin.

10 points now not a bad result for us & leaves us 12 clear of Scunthorpe who have 7 to play. We can see this season out and try to sort ourselves out for next yr. Surely 12 points clear is enough even for us

I think PH4 is a smokescreen for the true investors. It will be interesting to see what the CCFCH statement says regarding the deduction. I doubt they will concede at this stage that the whole of CCFC is in admin, in fact we will probably need to wait for the 6 weeks fact finding before that happens.

It's probable that we'll lose all of our remaining home games so wouldn't say we're 100% safe just yet.

say if this runs past the close of this season, will admin mean that all saleable assets such as players (I know we don't have many worth much) and the training ground will be sold of to the first bidder on the cheap to recover some of the debt?

Very unlikely. Ultimately it's smoke and mirrors. The club is in administration and the administrators run the club. Sisu have effectively gone.

I wouldn't count on it.

Sisu are far from being out of the picture and can still cause us major grief

and win our last game to stay up after the game delayed 15 minutes due to 'traffic' problems giving the mackems more to shout about :p

Really enjoying the high life. Many thanks to Tim Fisher and his staff for making our dream of third tier crap a reality.

Brendon Guilfoyle (administrator) said he didnt have the funds to take over the club, so that will be interesting to see how that pans out!

Yes he has personally made a few statements since then. As has JE.

It'd need some freakish reversal of form for us to be caught by the threatened teams now, even if we were to lose our remaining games.

This is true, at least we have something to play for!

As far as my knowledge goes, prospective buyers could only purchase the CCFC Ltd company as they are in admin while Sisu themselves control the players and staff. Surely Sisu will play hardball to sell on the CCFC Holdings company to anyone interested in buying the club. I believe Sisu have done this on purpose to still somehow retain control of the club and there could be complications regarding the ownership of Coventry city. Unless I've mistaken, that's the situation we find ourselves in right now which is still pretty confusing.

the -10 is immediate and is for going into administration (Pompey had that last season), from here on in we can get another hit for any financial irregularities that get found and / or if we exit administration without a CVA.

The exit without a CVA can only be applied at the point you officially come out of admin which is why Pompey haven't had it yet. They are getting -10 but I don't think that's set in stone like the -10 for going into admin, the FL decides how much that is. Our biggest issue now is that, if we assume SISU are on the way out, they don't go quietly and refuse to agree a CVA, that will see us lose more points next season.

I wouldn't assume SISU are on their way out, they will be trying to salvage what they can.

I bet the have transferred the 'Golden' share to Coventry City Football Club (Holdings Ltd), in the hope they can keep ownership of the Club. Putting CCFC Ltd into admin is mainly about being able to walk away from the money they owe ACL. If they transferred the Golden share to (Holdings) it may mean the team face more points being docked, but SISU would still own the club and could do with it what they please. I hope i a wrong though!

The Football League can confirm that Coventry City Football Club have been deducted*10 points, in accordance with its rules and regulations. This Sporting Sanction has been implemented with immediate effect. Coventry City have*seven days in which to appeal. The League has now begun discussions with the administrator aimed at achieving a sustainable future for the club within The Football League.

Big kick in the teeth all the hard work down the pan time to re-group.

The thing is that surely this has to be given explicit permission by the League-if it hasn't then we're liable to further sanctions.
