I’ve accepted Vik will go, and the money we could get for him would be fantastic.

I would actually prefer Gus to stay out of the two of them, looks like it MIGHT be on the cards 🙏

If he stays and going by how much he improved over the last 5 months ...you may as well just give us the trophy now

Sell him now or lose him for nothing next summer?

I look at Hamer and Vik, put myself in their shoes…. Think about the opportunities that will be available to them, both from a financial and career perspective…. Why would you stay?

It’s not all about money. With Vik, there’s a lot of noise about who wants him - probably accelerated by his new agent.

Not so much on Hamer. Perhaps he believes in the project here and thinks Coventry City can help him achieve his ambitions.

Sell him now or lose him for nothing next summer?

Unless it’s a sizable fee, we’d genuinely be better off with the latter.

He's under contract so he's not going to say anything else.
As far as he's concerned he leaves for nothing next season unless we choose to sell him.

Just bumped into him in the casino after the Monkeys gig.

Bloke fucking loves the club, I'll just say that.

The bloke I was sat behind at Wembley said he lives near Hamer and concurs that he’s a lovely bloke.
Told me that Micky Gynn also lives near him and that Gynn couldn’t get tickets for the game, on hearing this Hamer was said to have sorted him out with a couple.
However, the same bloke also told me we were gonna score a winner with 5 mins to go, soooo…

Did he say which match that was for though?

Micky Gynn was on the radio and said he was at a wedding on the day of the game and watched the game on a big screen.
I was with his son pre match mate as he came to see me and my family 😂, I don’t think micky was there and obviously you’re right on that

he had a conversation with hamer in the week did micky, but it wasn’t about tickets

Gus answered the phone from the training ground

Heard he owns a property in Leamington. That being said, I’m not so sure he’ll be quick to sell up and leave with the instability that’d cause unless the offer was too good to refuse say Barcelona made a bid or something along those lines.

Judging by what’s being said here he might be happy with a jump in his wages provided we aim for promotion next season.

Why would he have to sell up? Players don’t move every time they change club - Godden lives in Kent.

Well that settles it, he's not going to want to sell in this economic climate.
