He's now 25 - coming to his peak. Strikers thrive on confidence, he's had a season scoring lots of goals, albeit at a low level. He may not come and be first choice, but it's a possibility.
Take a look at the list of players that have been mentioned who were not loanees. You can rule many of them out because they are either still under contract at a higher level and part of plans or just not desirable. Jeffers could be a realistic choice. My next best guess is Leon Clarke - Sheff Utd probably won't want him in the Championship, but my guess is that he will go to a League 1 side. It's certainly not Benjamin, he's been retired for two years.

I'd be leon if i was 100% certain. My Best guess is that the op is trying to create a mask of uncertainty over the player coming in.

He was 23 when he played that season in league two. That's older than some of the players people on here are already writing off and happy to let go.
