Why, are you a big lad?

Well that's not what I meant but as you mention it I would be prepared to fuck him to death! Hey! Whatever it takes! (I will need an attractive fluffer, some porn and some blue pills)

agreed, but Wilson is a fan as well as a player. I cant help think that if we were in the Ricoh we would have a better chance of holding on to him.

Sorry, but I just don't buy it. Loyalty is for fans. Players may claim to be fans, but in reality it is their career and they need to make what they can while they can. He will be retired in 10-12 years, or a lot sooner if he were to get unlucky with injuries. He will be no different from anyone else in wanting to play at the best club he can and with the best contract.

I recently read a book called The Secret Player where the author made it quite clear how players regard their employers. Show them loyalty and they are just as likely to ditch you without a backward glance. Wilson, like any other, may have a soft spot for their local club, but it will make no difference to how he pursues his career. It's always been the way.

The way we conducted ourselves in the transfer market and the amount we gladly paid on wages whilst being an 'Established Premier League Club' is one of the main reasons we're in the third tier of English football....
Oh, Okay then. Not that this guy's on bankrupting wages, but anyway, Sell, Sell, Sell!! it's the way ahead!

so what's new.We have always been a selling club.If he brings in £3m if the rumours are to be believed, then that sounds like good business to me.

Good business if that's what you are in it for ........Good football and team building for success and then reap financial gain?.............

That may be a bit difficult for some to grasp

Don't tell me he wasn't responsible for decimating our income by moving us to Northampton. You will try as usual though.

It takes a special person to hate a council more than they love their football team. How else can you explain someone's approval of one being used to bash the other.

It takes a special person to love a hedge fund more than their city.

When I read the title of this thread: 'Fisher has spoken', I so wanted the first line within to read 'like the first morning...'
