Maatsen into the cL final. Who wants to go through old posts and find the FM who used to say he not good enough? Lol

Same as Dasilva is a brilliant signing lol

Solihull Moors just lost on penalties again. Andy Whing must wonder what he's got to do.

Dele Adebola back with blues. Really think they’ll struggle next season with him and Dean Gaffney up front.

Bloke from Toy Story in squad as well…strange.

Seemed pretty obvious Maatsen was a real talent and could go right to the top, though I don't think I expected him to be a champions league finalist 2 seasons later.
There was plenty of criticism of him here. Can’t defend, too small to be a defender, etc.

Pretty obvious Gyokeres would never remain 3rd choice striker yet some thought Biamou should have been retained ahead of him…

Cov have a new claim to fame, having the first South Asian footballer in the Premier League.

Robert Rosario is of Anglo/Indian heritage (as am I FWIW).

Must admit that I thought he was Italian - maybe he was from Portuguese/ Goan stock.

Anyway, a first for Cov.

Maatsen had tons of potential, anyone that knows anything about football could see that. He was still learning when with us but I thought he was very good. He was the regular left back for the runaway league winners last season and is now a champions league finalist, but people on a cov city forum pretend they know more than the coaches, scouts etc

I'm pretty sure his mother was from either The Netherlands or Germany.
