As the title says, do we need any more polls?

The results of this poll shall be legally binding.

Firstly, I would question the overall sanity of members of this forum.
Secondly, polls held usually appear to be on subject matters that divide the members into firmly entrenched positions where they refuse to change tack for fear of being seen to be weak, losing face. I doubt the silent/apathetic majority are so entrenched (no less caring or passionate though) & thereby give a firm opinion. So the polls tell us very little.
A bit like a poll in the Socialist Worker's Party - "Should we embrace capitalism?"

Wassup Lord? Has everyone been voting against what you know to be true in your world? :thinking about:

Skybluebazza it's a good point but there is so much rhetoric on here that spins round and round that a poll sometimes serves as a truer indicator rather than the ambiguous remarks made over and over. It is supposed to be more definitive though I agree that there will be people voting differently than the view they sometimes display in their post. :)

Seems a reasonable starting point with the majority of the human race, tbf.
