Those involved should know by now. We would find out at a later date.

Maybe was just a fishing exercise to try and find something out that could lead to action of another kind. But I don't think it is the end of the legal battle even if they didn't appeal.

They usually leave this sort of thing until the last minute.

Once JR2 is done what other legal action could they take?

I'm sure that they will find another reason to start court proceedings.

But what would be the basis for this? Also with time limits discussed last week, has anything happened within the time frame in which they can raise a legal action for them to form a case? Genuine questions as I thought that once JR 2 is booted out there would be no more legal avenues for them to go down.

I think they will appeal against the limited time they had to make the appeal following the first appeal.......... etc

Would be surprised if they didn't appeal. Doesn't seem to matter how hopeless a case it is for them they'll drag it out as long as possible.

Correct. I feel that they thought that if they harassed CCC with enough legals, however spurious, that CCC would cave in and offer a load of compo to settle and make it go away. They have done this before hence the 'how do Sisu win? They batter people in court' comment from TF. Sadly for Sisu thr council knew they were in solid legal ground and were motivated to fight all the actions. If Joy feels that this would also apply to any future legal action then the end of the legal route could be nigh.

I don't think by the looks of her the withered old c**t wouldn't be able to take another battle

Depends what they decide to challenge. Could be to do with way talks stopped at us staying at the Ricoh or something else stupid. Nothing would surprise me about them.

Prolonging our agony.

Can only guess but either they genuinely think they will win at some point or they think if they keep it up for long enough the council will agree compensation just to make it all stop.

Prolonging our agony would be a side effect not the gain. What would the gain be?

Why would any council pay them off when SISU clearly don't have a case? They've fought them every step so far. Why would they throw the towel in now when it's the opposition who's the ones on the ropes?

That's a commercial dispute though. The purpose of a JR is to hold a public body to the latter of the law as far as I understand it.

Has it been confirmed that sisu are picking up costs for all parties? With wasps, council and AH that would be quite a bill on top of their own!
