My first recollection of him (didn't know who he was at the time) was him getting filled in in the back of a meat wagon after a game at VP about 1989/90.
The van was rocking all over the place! He was probably giving back as good as he got.
Two hours later I saw him again - limping (along with a swollen eye) and clutching his charge sheet, along the bridge at New St station.

Ah man! That’s so sad to woke up to that news this morning. Had tickets for them in June at Villa park aswell. Just glad I managed to see him in his prime on numerous occasions.
RIP to one of the greatest drummers of our generation.

Another huge City fan has died too. Grew up with him, he was a year younger, we used to play loads of footy together. RIP Harry Hennessy. Good guy.
