I've had a season ticket for 32 years, apart from the year at Northampton when I wouldn't go.
I've seen CCFC play at 89 of the 92 league grounds, and some non-league ones.
I had an away season ticket for 12 years, until I had to give it up by not going to Northampton (you must have a home ST to get an away ST).

I will not go if we are having a ground share. I sit with a group of 10 or so who go to pretty much every game, but only 2-3 tops would go if we moved out of the city.

Don’t give a shit about the club then Pete? Rather see it die?
Oh like that is it.
So everyone who doesn't want to watch their team play home games in another town wants the club to die.

Well superfan carry on I for one wont go it is my choice, .
I dont want the club to die will just go to away games, and listen to the away home games on the radio.

We will die if we remain tenants at the Ricoh at the whim of an unstable landlord

Don't want us to move, but I will go this time (didn't to Northampton). A lot of this comes from having got involved in the l&wccfc supporters group, which has been a really positive experience. Don't want to lose my rekindled love/support of the team. Don't want to see a return to any division of supporters, though. Go or not go, supporters have not done anything wrong.

So are our owners stable then?

So if we are paying the same rent at some where else with a quarter of the fanbase how is that sustainable?

Last time we paid for Northamptons new stand if there fanbase is to be believed.

If it is Northampton then I would expect the crowds to be bigger this time but an average of 5,000 would be as high as we could probably expect. If that is the case I would rather we play somewhere like Rugby where we would play in packed ground, tight to the pitch, that could prove quite intimidating to away teams and referees alike.

If it was 5,000 with added away fans that would be 80% full and far more of an intense atmosphere than a soulless 32,000 bowl with fans scattered everywhere

You are seriously deluded if you think we’ll get 5000 per game on a regular basis playing elsewhere and even if we did that’s still a loss of £100000 per game we scrape through now on double that attendance figure.

If we do move I would like us to be in Warwickshire either Nuneaton or Rugby. If we could temporarily get the capacity up to 10000 I think it would be full most games. That's roughly what we average now.

I am right by Nuneaton ground now at and if anyone thinks that ground and the surrounding area is suitable for first class football they are deluded.

Northampton or Burton would be a complete joke and an embarrassment to the club. Most fans will stay away imo. Personally I’d prefer Nuneaton or Rugby with temporary stands, at least its within the vicinity of the City.
End of the day, if the council agree to the Woodlands plans, then we’ll see if SISU stick to their word and drop the legals, enabling us to stay at the Ricoh. That would be the perfect outcome in all of this.
And an embarrassment to the council, city of sport 2019?

We can only hope Wilson get bought and we get the sell on to keep us going for 2 years to which by then WASPs will need to sort out the £35 million bond payback

The whole City of Culture shite should be used as a forum of protest and anger if the club is forced out of the City
Said on one of the threads where the trust were asking for suggestions that we should find out when all the events are and protest them. Especially the more formal events, those would only need a handful of people to turn up to create an impact.

As with everything in those threads it was completely ignored by the trust.

If we move away we may never come back

I would then have to question if they would be representing my City anymore.... and the answer would be no.

They would mean nothing to me and I would put my energy and money into some other team that does represent it

I’m only a supporter because it’s associated with Coventry...
Wasps ? Does your city represent it's football team ?

Never went to Northampton. Would renew my season ticket this time depending on distance. If it was too far I’d still go to occasional games.

It’s a bold statement from them LWCCFCSC putting it out already that they will be running coaches to the home (ground share) games if it happens. I know they are at the front of the que with the club at the minute but not really sure about that one.

So you are 3 grounds short. When did you see us play at Huddersfields current ground, the London Stadium, Spurs new ground or the Etihad? :)

Don't not normally listen to the phone in as it winds me up but it came on when I got back to the car yesterday.

Chap was chatting away to Linnell then as soon as he mentioned the council being in talks to buy Wasps at one point Linnell cut him off and wouldn't let him talk about it. How do the local media get away with not allowing certain sides of the story to be spoken about?

The same Linnell in the Executive Box with Ranson and Hoffman the other week?
