FFS ACL what have you been playing at. If I was the owner of the club I would withhold the rent.
what has happened to the groundsman , my back lawn is better than that.

Our old groundsman is now at Leicester I think. Ground looks horrible, going to take weeks to sort that out; and its coming unto winter too; wrong time of year to be re-growing.

If they are going to use the middle for events they need to consider how the pitch is going to cope. Why don't they use something like the millennium stadium where the pitch is on square pallets of about 10ftx10ft. Take the pitch out and then put it back afterwards. Not perfect (MS pitch cuts up quite a lot after events and then putting it back in) but it would be better than that!!

We need to intervene before Otium start withholding the rent again!

Meet you in all the morning, each with a fork? Preferably garden ones but if you don't own one of them, a food one will be sufficient. Needs must and all that! No plastic ones though!

Would be a good idea , but they have machinery for this sort of thing. Yes it would rally the fans round, but with a small tractor and fertiliser/ feeder spreader they could cover the whole pitch in a few hours . If the weather is warmer next week with the heat wave coming, it can recover really quickly. Needs some heat lamps over the damaged areas. The police must have a few after the recent cannabis factory raids in Cov. Get them up there and get the hydroponics systems working.

Thought about that last night when it was gridlocked around the Arena as The J W convention finished. Have ACL had contractors in tot clean. The seats of 17 months of dust and bird shit. My seat in block 20 was unlucky always had Pigeon shit on it and the roof leaked. Thinking of moving this year after Gills game. Take a pack of wet ones so clothes not ruined.

I thought it was a mixture of man made fibers and real turf which meant that it was more resilient than just turf. I'm fairly certain I saw a cross section of it on display whilst the Ricoh was still being bulit. There's also the underpitch heating which I'm not sure would work (or work as well) if the pitch was on pallets.

It is just our luck though it's looked perfect throughout last season (from seeing it at the legends game and various reports on here) and then when we finally come back it some event has buggered it up. Gutted to be missing the first match back but I seriously didn't think we would be this season and so booked time off to go on holiday. :(

Get yourself down the Casino ,that's where they'll be ,The Maitre D was telling a mate of mine, one of these events stick £50K behind the Bar for everyone to enjoy themselves .

Not as rigid as we're led to believe ,all this religion dogma.;)

Looks better than it did 2 days ago. It'll be OK.

Been lovely grass growing weather these last few days.. weather forecast for week ahead is mostly sun & clouds with a few showers.. should be fine.

Hopefully it'll be sorted by next week. Tbf to ACL when Insomnia booked to have a marquee on there, the club being back probably wasn't a factor.

Think you are right, looks like the court judgement going so clearly against SISU was the key moment in events.
I certainly thought all the legal avenues had to be exhausted till any talks could happen, but I was wrong on that.
