Well done City. Well done Reuben, considering everyone moans about you.

It's amazing how someone can get praise for one pass (which was his only contribution all year) yet the great finish largely goes unnoticed.

Coventry.
Someone on the radio just gave Bigi 10 out of 10 for today, he couldnt of been at the game surely, only involvement in the first half seemed to be giving the ball away, better 2nd half but nowhere near MOM or a 10.

Speaking to a brittle fan and he said City were one of the better teams they have played in the division and couldn't understand why we were so many points adrift at the bottom. I said neither could Russell Slade

Well Mowbray couldn't do any better..
He did last season. Also he came before slade so is nothing to do with the point at hand dummy. If we had sscked slade earlier or not got him full stop we would be in a better position

He did last season but that wasn't with this team. No need to get so touchy

Sorry mate but no matter what i post the reply is mowbray and then some have the gall to say im obsessed with him

As I said on another thread we should have sacked Mowbray last February and installed robins then. It was clear Mowbray was finished in terms of effectiveness.

Does Stuart Linnell still post on here? If so I'd like to know how he thought Bigi was back being a decent player!?!

I said it early in that The Bigi we all know and love was back. Yet he seemed to seriously think post match that he'd had a good game?

And a caller also suggested he was MOTM!

Confused the hell out of me!

You did to be fair. So do you think Tim Fisher messed up allowing Venus a chance then employing Slade?
(Sorry this is in reply to Grendel)

Bigi had a good game today imo. Not a MOTM performance sure, there were a number ahead of him, but I am sure people can look beyond the odd stray pass when assessing his performance? He sees a lot of the ball, so of course he will give it away from time to time. This isn't bloody Barcelona. His work rate today was outstanding I thought, and I believe we are a better side with him in it. If you look at the games we have won in the league this season he has started most of them. I think he may have missed only one (but could be wrong). Just wonder when people will give the lad a break.

Robins picked him as well. So that goes against this myth that every manager doesn't fancy him

I don't get it either. Wasn't as bad as Southend but still wasn't great.

The odd stray pass? How many successful ones did he make?

No I didn't. I said we shouldn't expect him to. I don't really see the point. I've always been a robins fan and we should have got Mowbray out last Feb and we'd be in the championship now

I thought Bigi was very, very hit and miss. It wasn't just the odd stray pass unfortunately, it was 5 or 6.

Reilly was guilty of it too, as was Thomas and Reid.

One our most error riddled performances for a while despite all the plus points of fight and endeavour etc.

Bigi would be a 5 out of 10 for me and no way a MOTM. Just don't get that thinking at all.

I thought Clarke played well, as did Willis, and Rawson again was magnificent. Beavon worked really hard too. All those would be ahead of Bigi for MOTM.

You said noone could do better than slade

Robins already has

Its ok. Not everyone can know as much as football as me.

Enjoy the win and remember to listen to covcity4life

Watching that Back we can safely say that Burge's wonder saves were 1 straight at him and 2 not a save at all, cleared off the line because he missed the ball.

#defendburgeeventhoughhesshit
I didn't get why Eakin says that one off the line was a save by Burge. When it happened it was pretty clear that Bigi cleared the ball. Mind. The CWR desk was on the blindside for the incident.
