I was getting ready to buy a ticket, then they moved the game to Friday, so I can't go! Bummer. :(

Waggot reiterates the club must own it's own stadium, if they can't do a deal on permanent ownership of the Ricoh they will go ahead build a new stadium.

I hate to be the first to bring this up, but: Are match day revenues included?

Waggot said commercial details of the deal will be kept confidential so don't know if we be able to find that out, he also said the club need to own their own stadium still. If that can't be at the Ricoh they still have plans to build a new stadium.

this has just blew my mind. If we fill the ricoh out agaisnt gills, would that constitue to a higher attendance than all of the games at sixfields last year put together?

No. 52,601 was the cumulative attendance. Be nice to beat that in two games though.

Long over due. While I'm obviously delighted City will be playing in Coventry, it should never have left in the first place. So I won't be praising SISU - though I am pleased that they have finally decided to stop being stubborn.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned - I haven't read the rest of the thread yet - but has anybody else noticed it is... Thursday!

To own the stadium (freehold/long lease), ccfc have to make an acceptable offer to the seller/landlord.....nothing will happen until they make such an offer.

Is it possible to buy season tickets for Saturday matches only. Just wondering as due to work commitments I am only in Coventry on weekends. Midweek games are difficult.

Unless I'm imagining, a Saturdays only deal has been offered before?

Certainly the type of 'outside the box' thinking the club should be doing to offer the fans.

Owning the stadium - bricks and mortar - doesn't make sense to me. The club should own ACL and so next step is to negotiate the price for the shares.

LMAO has he just came out of his coma

Sisu and fans should welcome with open arms anyone who gets around a table or who could help get the club moving in the right direction.. To close the door on ex players, fans, CCC or anyone interested in CCFC or the Ricoh is exactly how Sisu got in the mess they just got out of.. Don't be negative, don't judge and as for RK he took so much shit for stating what SISU were up to but yet he was proved right..

Thank god this has come out at last. I was going to burst...:claping hands:

I was totally pissed off with the trouble this has caused the real people who make Coventry City. I was days away from cutting all interest in the club. It was that bad. Only a game though, isn't it?

After todays News I really hope people back the club and team in person a fortnight tomorrow v Gillingham back at the Ricoh. Let's turn up in numbers and don't watch on sky. Don't let the turn out be an anti-climax! PUSB

Best day in a long, long time.

I will never forgive SISU.

So happy but also so angry at the same time.

Hard to control myself when I was at work in a Stockholm office and had important stuff to do!

I loved the world cup but finally I can love English football again.

I've already asked/told my boss that I'm finishing early on that Friday. She's none too chuffed, but I'm driving up for the game. I might be on my own (missus away on a hen do...good timing) so might meet up with some of you for a pre-match pint.

I'm still TOTALLY buzzing about this!!!
