It does seem we may as well have saved a loan spot and just developed Burroughs and Eccles in that position. But he's not Dabo so he's got that going for him.

Mcnally looked very impressive, him Fadz and Doyle could be a great back 3 for the rest of the season, and we should definitely look to secure him for next season if possible.
Cuffy shows glimpses of quality at times but needs time to settle in, and I'm suprised he hasn't shown that pace that we were told he had, maybe it will come as he gets fitter.

I wouldn't suggest for a second that Robins is clueless but Allens days are surely numbered he was good in league 1 but not very good in the championship as can be seen just about every week we definitely need better, he may run about a lot but even the most inept pundit on here can see he is behind the play at times arriving after the ball has gone its like watching a little kid trying to get the ball off adults...piggy in the middle but at times his 1 touch passing can be decent but he is not consistent...shame but true

I’d been awake for around 30 hours by kick off so didn’t manage to watch it - looking forward to it tomorrow though!
Great to stop poor run. And decent second half with some good performances from sheaf and mcnally especially but also mentions for Vik, Hamer, Bidwell and Doyle. Also thought panzo was v disciplined second half (but some wayward passes).
Not convinced yet by Coffey…defensively out of position a bit and when going forward hesitant to get advanced enough.

Vik seems to be annoyed with Palmer for claiming the goal last week. That prima donna behaviour needs to be stamped on quickly
If Hudds go down and we want a replacement for Allen I think their Duane Holmes would suit our style of play.
It's not popular, but I thought we did alright there too. They set up to stifle and did it well, it needed proper class from Hamer to break through, and they actually liked more dangerous after the first goal than in the first half. Not surprising as they had to attack but still, their whole plan was to contain, so their style made us look poor as much as anything.
