Someone is triggered and Piquet of course is a racist. The whole sport is - that’s why Hamilton is hated

Triggered because I replied? Hmmm

I don't like Hamilton cos he comes across as a spoilt brat alot of the time on radio.

Nout to do with racism

He's been fine this season mind you. Won loads of times. I wanna see different winner. Hence leclerc this year over max. But no doubting verstappens quality.

Aston Martin did the same, didnt see much uproar
So Red Bull spend the excess more effectively than Aston Martin can?
Ferrari boss came up with some strange equation between every extra million over budget =so many hundredths of a second per lap.
Nothing's going to happen maybe some sort of reprimand or team fine rather than points deductions or future cap penalties. FIA just want to leave 2021 in the past as it has enough bad memories.
Plus FIA don't want the hassle of how much last year's budget overspends may have impacted this year's cars.

Ridiculous statement, completely different outcome.

would say this years title was down to cheating aswell.

Only taking the piss

Personally feel they should be stripped of their constructors title for 2022 that they'll inevitably win, and a massive fine

Dont see what punishing Max would do, or stripping him of last years title, its not the drivers that have overspent and cheated is it

Apparently Red Bull are claiming its down to catering and staff absence. Clearly, they spent a ridiculous amount on dud catering, and everyone who ate it got the running shits!

They need to punish them enough to ensure it Stops teams doing it in future. Only severe penalties will do that.

max benefited due to the extra spend, which could have gained him the title last year, so that needs to be considered too.

they won’t do anything of course, probably a behind closed doors “punishment” that they hope will upset all the other teams for 5 minutes and then go away.

Horner will probably come out and say they’ve been hugely punished and are considering legal action, to try to make it sound like they have, but will hardly be able to stop himself laughing.

have to send a message. Set a cap and enforce or it's worthless. Look at what the likes of PSG, Man city and others did/do with fair play caps/regs

Devils advocate....

Lewis slamming Max into the wall at Copse cost 1.8 Million of damage.

That's your overspend right there........
If max hadn’t got the benefit of the overspend, then Lewis would have passed him easily …. Quid pro quo

They need to stop this in race coaching again. Let drivers figure it out unless it is a safety issue.

Lane Stroll is an absolute moron.
My wife is an F1 fan and generally in life rarely gets cross about anything but absolutely hates Stroll.

Hes a weapon

He could have literally killed Alonso with that move, if the Alpine took off it would have hit the catch fencing at best, gone over it at worst

Put a very good driver in the best car and it tends to pay off. That car is way ahead of the rest still .ease with which it chased down Hamilton last week highlighted this
Seen it with Hamilton, vettel, Schumacher.

Exactly and same as vettel at Red Bull when that car was dominant - although not by the margin of Mercedes and this year's Red Bull.
Excellent drivers in the best cars.

It's still the main flaw. F1 excitement is now about the start and then maybe waiting for things to go wrong to bunch the field again to close it up.

This year's Red Bull is so far ahead of the field. Problem is Ferrari and Mercedes are also poor cars this year yet still clear of the rest of the field.

Next year's championship already about whether Mercedes or Ferrari can make better cars rather than can Hamilton or Le Clerc do something more to challenge Verstappen.

It also used to be a trade off between speed and reliability, so even if you had the quickest car, you might break down.

Now the all go on for eternity!

No doubting his qualities as a driver. Just wish it was with any other team than Red Bull.

Think Mercedes threw their last opportunity to win a race today also.

The strategy Ricciardo had would have served them better I think.

I think they must have realised that when other drivers were still going strong on soft tyres a long time after they’d switched Lewis to Hards.
