@skybluesam66 ........ I think the only moisture will be internal in the form of beer. .... unless you mean us taking the p**** on the pitch?
Can`t see it making one iota of difference that Cov will be in the top tier above a few blocks of ours, the design of the ground and stewarding etc will negate any halfwit who fancies launching anything down to the next tier/at opposing fans.
To be honest I would rather see a full Wembley .. it will add to the experience & memories. When we played York in the Conference play off they had about 8-9,000 that looked "lost" in a stadium of that size.... and our 35k didn`t look much better!!
I think the vast majority are looking forward to a cracking Spring day out in London watching their team in a final at the home of football (again!).
Of course there will be a tiny % of Stone Island clad spotty wannabes who will be trialing for the "Strictly Pavement Dancing with Arms Outstreched" trophy....... best ignored IMHO.

We aren`t as far as I know? Care to enlighten me?? Think we have moved on a bit from the 80`s when we rearranged the seating plan at Highfield road.

I'm glad its moved on...I recall going down to Oxford with about 50 of us in a hotel bar on one of the main roads there...then having Oxford charge the place. Pitch battle in the street ensued with women and kids running for cover (and that was just the Oxford fans :) )

I know SBS was only joking. What kind of numpty would lob anything into a random crowd which will undoubtedly include women and children just there to enjoy a day out.

Anyone with a genuine need to express how hard they are should step into the ring with someone of broadly equal size and ability, where there's nowhere to run and no mates to back you up if you start to get on the wrong end of it. That, I can respect... the hoolie stuff is as old and embarassing as mullet and moustache combos, move on. :)

of course i was joking
however if anybody has a seat directly above Fisher - things may be different

Wonder if he will take any of his cronies there to hear 40000 people sing his name

We have one very noticeable exception to misbehaving at football and that is when we play at Pighill.
250 coppers from 5 forces couldn`t control that......... on a Sunday with a midday kick off.
We really don`t like them.

Its also the Boat Race on April 2nd......... so all the toffs will be down by the river.

Anybody that goes to a Wembley final, or any football game for that matter, and causes trouble is an absolute numpty.

There, that should shame them out of it.

If enough people ridiculed them, it probably would. But then football's a funny old game and I think there's still some who see some sort of reflected glory in having the hardest 'crew' or dumbest yobs, depending on your standpoint.

Hi guys, haven't posted on this thread for a while so I thought I'd update you all now. Just spoken with my mate in the ticket office. Since general sale we've sold an addition 12,000, taking our total up to 86,000. Incredible. It's highly doubtful we'll get any more as this leaves just under 4,000 for Oxford fans, neutrals & corporates combined. Will let you know if anything changes.
I can tell you are the sort of guy who creates parody Twitter accounts and keeps them going for years

@Liquid Gold seems a civilised enough place.
Sadly its looking fairly likely you will drop down to Div 4 to join Pompey & Luton but I think, if you get some civilsed owners rather than an assett stripping hedge fund, you will bounce back pretty quick.I can`t see you doing what we did and dropping through the trap door into the hell of the conference...... that is truly bleak once the "big fish small pond" novelty wears off!!
Anyway it won`t go amiss to catch up with you folk on April 2nd for a shandy or three irrespective of the result!

I make it approximately 105 remaining in Blocks 526-524, plus a rogue on that has appeared in 139. Tickets sales practically ground to a holt now?

Looks like every ticket available to us has now sold. Just waiting on the club to open a new block now. Anybody know if the ticket office is open Sunday?

Morning, slightly better day for us yesterday against Scunny..... midweek game vs Bolton to come...think we have pretty much 2 games a week in March.
Back to dotology......
As of 11.30am on Sunday we have our total at 25,844.
There are now just 69 seats left in Tier 2 and 110 in Tier 1 (all individual seats). I have sales at Tier 3 as 3,969.
Coventry seemed to have a slow day on the sales front yesterday also. It looks like they want to see every seat sold in Blocks 524-526 before opening up the next Block (523). Just 10 individual seats left in those Blocks now so there may well be another surge in their sales when people can buy groups together again.
Your total sits at 42,612 and the overall total at 68,456.

Another pay day to come... we`ll hit 30k.

I remember that one!

Oxford were in the 3rd division and brought about 5000 up for a cup game. There was quite a lot of brawling, but it was all very good-natured compared to some of the other loonies about at the time. I remember one chappie from Oxford pealing away from the melee and asking me if I could direct him to the coach station (then the old outdoor pool next to Stoke library) "please". That impressed me no end.
