You might be right. Maybe I'm thinking of Gary Bennett, Dave's brother.

Mo Konjic (obviously), loved a few loan signings (Richie Partridge, Norwood, Cork), David Thompson, loved the energy of Kevin Thornton and Bigirimana, even though they probably flattered to deceive. Remember being a big fan of Suffo's, though can't recall anything of note he actually did...

He was only coaching a junior age group. He may well still be doing that.

The one who once threw David Speedie into the crowd at Roker Park.

Back in the day, I absolutely adored Roy Barry. But for a broken leg, he would have gone on to have a fantastic career, presumably, with one of the major clubs in England. No way could we have kept hold of him as he was pure quality in midfield as a tough tackling general.

Gerry Francis, top quality player, his legs had gone by the time he came here, but he held the team together with his experience and talent.

I'm amazed he didn't go on to greater things. After sliding down the leagues, he retrained as a physio and (I think) now works for Qatar's national team.

Isaac Osbourne, the man who was scared to shoot. He could literally be on the opposition goal line with the ball at his feet, yet still look for a teammate to pass to.

Didn't his brother play for Sunderland?

Yeah he only scored one professional goal in his whole career and it was not at Coventry but he was a CDM and RB. I would not want him on the end of any chance, but I still liked him as he worked hard and I thought he was dependable when fit.

I think it was his last ever game for us, where he managed to not score when he got the ball about 6 yards out in a goal mouth scramble

Was that Wimbledon away? When they had that temporary stand made of wood?

Bigi was decent he just happened to be playing in two god awful sides

Relegation 2012 side he did enough to warrant Newcastle buying him and he actually forged a way into their side at a point before it all went wrong

Then the year we went down to L2 he was one of our better players, he should have been the focal point of the rebuild and come back up the Leagues with us but he had an agent who was advising him terribly at the time and kept running his mouth off in the press, went to Motherwell and ruined his career
