Robert Jarni never quite delivered but what a hero for the club for just one day

The games we had Stewart Robson fit he basically ran the game, was incredible, Robbie Keane was just delightful, left and right foot and never looked like missing.

Kilcline though probably when I first stated going up, Killer

I'll go with biamou. I have nothing but great memories of him helping us to two promotions and avoiding relegation in championship. More so because it seems he is so ridiculed by some fans for his talent who I guess forget we were in division 4 to use an old term.

Harry Roberts, elevated to cult status after that goal against West Ham (I had to look twice, thought it was Stevie Hunt).

One of those perfect players for when you’re a kid and you just assume this striker who never plays would score 20 goals a season if only the manager would ever play him. He was to me what Ponticelli, McBean and Tavares have been for others.

Who is your personal city cult hero? Someone who didn't necessarily pull up any trees, but you enjoyed watching and they stuck in your mind since.

For me its probably Lameiras. Really enjoyed watching him.

You say trees, and when I think of trees I think of Clive Platt. However, he's NOT my culture hero
and for some reason when I think of Clive Platt I also think of Peter Vincenti. He's also NOT my culture hero
but for some strange reason the first 2 names that came to mind reading your post. Go figure.

In all seriousness though, in terms of "culture hero".... I was asked a fair few years back, which player excited me most in a city shirt. Now I've seen Robbie Keane and Dublin and Huckerby. My all time favourite player is Ndlovu. And they're all superior player to my pick, (mostly because my pick played for us in L1 so we're comparing oranges and apples) but they're player that got me out of my seat, regardless of where he picked the ball (back to goal on the halfway line you always felt he could still smdo something with it) has to be David McGoldrick. Very short spell, didn't get us anywhere near the glory we've become accustomed to of late, but always got me excited when he had the ball. Therefore, for me, it HAS to be David McGoldrick

One player i never got to see live
of all the years I've followed the city and all the games and memories, I never seen Dennis Wise pull a sky blue shirt on.
I seen Huckerby score a mazey run v Utd. I seen Dave Busst leg break. I've seen Gaza pull on a sky blue jersey in his testimonial. Ive been to 73 of the 92 (and a few extras now in non-league) I've had a ST at HR since I was 9. But a 6 year hiatus whilst I was in the army made me miss last game at HR, 1st game at the Ricoh and the highlight of Dennis Wise's career.

Andy Blair, David Phillips, David Smith, Sean Flynn, Cedric Roussel, Carl Baker and Michael Doyle are players that I always found myself routing for, despite a sizable number of our support being critical of them.

I'll never forget that KO at VP 1992.
Robson not so much running as ruining the game.

Moldovan for me. Is it bad that I cheered when he scored against England in the 98 World Cup?
Plus he got ‘that’ goal at Villa.

I was on a lad's holiday in Salou watching that. I was the only City fan in the group. I was being called a c*nt, judas, all sorts like I'd scored it myself. Unlike you I hadn't even cheer the goal! FFS!
