Always loved Mick Coop as my first hero, did he ever get injured or miss a penalty?

Did not pull up any trees folks, DID NOT!!

We've currently got someone considered one of our greatest ever players and an FA Cup winner for fucks sake

Gotta be Doyle, surely?

Had a stint here, came back, dragged us back from the brink by the bootstraps, wound up opponents, wound up team-mates (lol, first spell) - cult hero in my opinion.

Stewart Robson and Reda Johnson. Both only made a handful of appearances due to being injury prone. What players when they did play though. And that Reda Johnson song.

Stewart Robson was great in CM. Should have rekindled his international career. Shame really.

I'll go with biamou. I have nothing but great memories of him helping us to two promotions and avoiding relegation in championship. More so because it seems he is so ridiculed by some fans for his talent who I guess forget we were in division 4 to use an old term.

And Onandi Lowe could have been if the club hadn’t been so weak and woke.

INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Signed with a record domestically and internationally that was top draw.

Played. Scored. Got arrested. Got dropped.

I get that if he had been found guilty he should be sacked. Before any trial? Nope.

Could have been a menace in the meantime. Would have thought it his last chance. Fired up.

Anyway….

For every game he played he'd miss about 10 for us

Dean Emerson for me was a decent player till that dirty pile of shite Megson did an awful tackle on him. Was never the same player again.

He was tipped to be a possible international player at one point, Emerson and Mcgrath were a formidable pair in midfield until that injury ruined things.

Megson was a thug if he did that tackle these days he'd probably receive a 6 game ban.

Was at that game. It was basically assault. Emerson had come from Rotherham I think and was absolutely tearing it up until that tackle. Same with McGrath when he broke his leg.

He was a fine player who should have received more England caps.

Trevor Peake should have been capped for England. Quietly went about his business.
Lloyd McGrath didn't pull up any trees but was the ultimate man marker / tough tackler.
For modern day, Liam Kelly is a good shout.

I remember talking to Sillet about after his recovery. He said that his pace was reduced. Makes my blood boil the amount of talent m lost to needless thuggery. Steve Froggatt (and although he wasn't playing for us Danny Thomas).

John hartson for me - signed month earlier, convinced we stayed up.

Still remember him bullying desailly at HR - think he went off “injured” at half time!

Proper animal!

Definitely did in 07/08. The mask season would’ve been Best/Morrison/Eastwood

He lost a yard of pace and you have reminded me of the awful challenge on Froggart by Sumerbee ?
